Strong black fruits, butter and slightly milky chocolate smells on the nose. Full bodied wine’s concentration is good enough with balanced acidity and tannins. Even though the finish is not long enough this is a good wine. Better to drink it with oven baked red meats.

It is really difficult to give a point to this kind of wine. Doremi Kisi amber 2015 was produced by traditional Georgian methods in kvevri. Dark gold coloured. Roasted nuts, bitter spice and dried flowers on the noose. Full bodied and tannic structure with very dominant mineral notes. Lack of fruit. I can not say that this is a very good example of Georgian amber wines but on the other hand this is totally a different class; you can hate or love it.

Earthy and sweet spicy noose. Melted tannins, a good red fruit concentration with a fresh acidity on the palate. Delicious and medium-long lenth finis. Stony and salty mineralite at the end. It is at the top of maturity, so that it should be drunk nowadays, after a few hours decanting.

It can be a good wine especially for new world style winelovers.

Shiny yellow colour. Fruity and floral noose, like green apple, nectarin, white flowers and slightly touch of sweet spice. Medium bodied with a nice freshness and smoth texture. Existence of some sweetness on the palate puts the wine in a an special but narrow segment for especially food pairings ( spicy vegetable meal, spicy white meats or salty cheese). Clear and delicious finish.

Dark ruby red. Black fruits and some vanilla notes on the noose. Medium-high bodied with “bold” concentration, and dusty tannins. Black pepper and some aromas from oak starts at at the attack and continue till to the end. Alcohol is little bit ahead which is not a good point for a monosepaj Kuntra wine. As a result, it is not a typical example of Kuntra, but a good wine in this price level.

Yellow & greenish coloured. A closed noose; just slightly yellow fruits, like apricot. Very good concentration on the palate with nice lemon aromas. Acidity is just enough (I expect more than this from Sancerre). Finish is mediun length with bitterness at the end. Not bad but it doesn't deserve its price..

Ruby red. Black fruits, menthol, bitter spices on the nose. Medium-full bodied, dense and balanced structure with sweetness and some earthy notes besides black fruit aromas. The palate of the wine is complex, it is ready to drink now but better to drink at least five years later. The only bad thing about the wine is distinctive bitter tastes (beyond bitterness) at the end.

Dark ruby red. Cherry and vanilla smels on the nose. Black fruits, bitter spices , pencil shavings and earthy notes at the palate with a distinctive acidity . Well balanced and elegant structured wine’s finish is rustic, medium-long length and delicious. There is ten percent merlot in the blend and it gives more complexity to the wine. Poggio Gualteri is little bit different than standart Chianti wines and I like it.

A real terroir wine from vigneron Jean Baptiste Senat. Blend of carignan, grenache and mourvedre. Carignan 50, greanche 60 and mourvedre vineyard 100 years old. Very dark ruby red coloured with purple rims. The noose is mainly fruity and earthy but the smells range is wide and layered. Medium bodied and well balanced wine's palate is very dense , shows mineralite and touch of bitter spice. Using 14 months oak helps only perfect maturation of the wine; doesn't add any unsuitable oaky smells and tannins. Not a big but very good wine.

Light ruby red colured. Strong animal notes on the nose ( maybe just related with this bottle, not sure). Medium-light bodied structure with soft tannins, and nice acidity on the palate. Medium length finish of the wine is clear, delicious with the salty mineral touches. This wines comes from seventy years old single vineyard and you can feel this deepness on the palate, but over animal notes on the nose effect negatively to drinking pleasure.

Dark inky purple coloured. Milky chocolate and black furits on the noose. Medium bodied & well balanced structure on the palate with little bit dry tannins. Acidity and sweet spices are especially remarkable. There is a bitterness from attact to finish but it is not related to over extraction or something like that; it looks like cahors' malbecs. Overall, the wine gave me a nice drinking pleasure. Future vintages of it should be followed; it can be the flagship product of the producer...

Light ruby red coloured. Ripe red fruits and bitter spice on the nose. Medium-light bodied wine has, again, ripe red fruits and especially grape juice and raisin aromas ( I noticed grape juice also at 2013 vintage of this wine too). Acidity, alcohol level, fruit concentration all are in a nice balance with integrated tannins. The finish is medium length, clear and spicy. According to me 2014 is a step ahead than 2013 . Papazkarasi is an important varietel in Thrace region and this wine is a good expression of the varietel.

This is really a varietel and terroir wine. Yeasty dough, menthol, bell pepper, sour cherry & rasperry and bitter spice on the nose. Medium bodied wine has a very well balanced structure with integrated tannins, refhreshing and impressive acidity, nice red fruits concentration and last but not least, remarkable salty-earthy ("bitterness" not the true description but let me say "wild") minerality on the palate. The finish is medium-long length, delicious and clear. As far as I know, this single vineyard wine aged eight months in french oak barrels and you can feel the result of this successful process both on the nose and the palate; just enough oak but never oaky!.. It is absolutely the best Turkish cabernet franc I have ever tasted and one of the best Turkish wine I have tasted in recent years. It is like Touraine reds and I'm wondering the performance of the wine four-five years later.

Light red colured. Fume and leather-like smells on the nose. Red berry fruits and earthy notes, later on herb, both sweet and bitter spice on the palate. Light bodied and elegant structured with a fresh acidity and silky tannins. The finish is medium long with the touch of black pepper and mineral notes. This is pure and balanced wine and it gives a nice drinking pleasure after one hour decanting. The only "negative" thing is, the wine doesn't reflect pinot noir's characteristics hundred percent.

Light yellow coloured. A typical hot climate chardonnay nose; fresh white and yellow flowers, and some yellow fruits. But I cannot say same thing on the palate; there is no malolactic and no oak barrel using and so that acidity is really high. I cannot say unbalanced though; it has also a good fruit concentration on the palate. During the finish of the wine, acidity relatively higher and this is affect negatively complete drinking pleasure. Anyway, I like this wine. Even though not complex or big wine, it was made without manipulation and reflects its terroir.

When I tasted this wine, there was no perfect condition to analyze it correctly. What I remember is, yellow fruity noose and palate, oily texture, just enough acidity, medium-long and slightly bitter finish. If I see it somewhere, I'll buy or drink again.
