Still a lot of fruit. Smooth and drinking well, but can hold. Drank upon opening with chocolate, then the next day with fresh poke which matched well.

Upon opening still a lot of fruit forward. Opened up over 1-1.5 hours and really sang. Has salmon burgers, some with Bbq sauce that went very well together.

Drinking beautifully. Opened up within half hour with a decant. Can still hold longer.

Almost no flavor on the front palate with an alcohol heavy finish. Disappointing and not worth drinking.

Just perfect. Fruity and smooth after it opens up. Sad we only have 1 left, but will be drinking it soon.

The cork was in perfect condition. first taste was fruity and bright, seems young still. Let it open a bit, and it drank beautifully with our herb chicken. Wish I had more.

Decanted 2+ hours. Drinking well, but would benefit from a few more years in the cellar.

We used Coravin and tried this several times over a couple of months. It just never got good. Finally dumped it.

58 months in French oak. 100% new

Very dry on front of mouth. Okay. If drinking now, decant for a few hours before drinking.

The acid is very well balanced the tannings are mellow it’ll age for about another four or five years and then will be premier but it is drinking good right now the fruit on it is not overpowering, but well balance with the rest of the acid

Still young. Will hold another 3-4 years (2026-7) before drinking. Then oak will smooth out.

Heady earth and dried fruit bouquet of this dusty and rustic wine makes for a great representation of an old-world Sangiovese made in a new-world style.

Food pairings: Enjoy with homemade pasta and a porcini and pork ragu, followed by a raisin and chocolate torte. Chicken w/roasted root vegetables tossed w/olive oil, lemon, capers. Angel hair pasta w/ratatouille sauce. chicken piccata.
*from winery notes.

Huge amount of fruit still. Tried it on night #2 and it wasn’t better. More like a port than regular wine. Decided not to finish it.

All the wines at this beautiful little organic domaine are made from 100% Chenin Blanc but vary in degrees of sweetness depending on where the grapes are harvested from. Planted in the sandy clay soils over tuffeau (that magical chalky soil of the Loire), these wines show the range of the quality that can be found in Vouvray for a mere pittance.
White
For this exclusive small production wine, we decided to produce a wine solely from our favorite Clone. The highly aromatic Clone 530 is one of the few clones that comes from the original home of Sauvignon Blanc, France’s Loire Valley. We grow it in the Edna Valley with great success. With a lighter crop and small juicy berries, this clone produces a uniquely expressive wine. While managing the grapes in the vineyard is hard work throughout the growing season, once the wine enters the cellars we keep it cool to preserve the varietal characteristics. Winemaking interventions are minimal with the wine being stored in stainless steel tanks to ensure every glass expresses the aromatic intensity of this beloved variety.
Rosé
With flavors of watermelon and strawberry bursting from the glass, the bright acidity of this Rose' creates a delightful freshness that makes this wine perfect year round! This wine was made by bleeding off (saignée) some juice from recently harvested Pinot Noir grapes.
