Consumed over two days, with a 2 hour decant for the half bottle on day 1. Certainly lived up to the Bedrock hype. Tons of black fruit but not jammy like other cali zins. Acidity and soft tannins provide great structure, and very little hint of alcohol. Just a really smooth wine that should integrate well over the next few years. Sadly, my only bottle of this vintage, but glad I have other Bedrocks locked away for the years to come. Drink now or feel free to hold. Wonderful QPR.

Similar to most other notes. Needs time to open up....decanted ~2 hours before first taste and was still a little closed up front, but opened up over the evening. Typical Napa cab, big fruits and heavy tannins that mellow out as it evolves. Good effort on an off year.

Very light in body and taste. Poured pale red, almost transparent. Slight aromas of cherry/raspberry. Tasted very thin, not a lot of fruit flavors or acidity. While it did open up a little over the 2+ hours after first pour, in the end there wasn't much to offer, even for an old-world style PN. There are better Oregon PN in this price range.

Great value from a great vintage. Lots of black fruit on the nose, some tart cherry and soft/light tanins on the pallate. Very well balanced. Perfect daily drinker PN if you can find <$25. I will continue to stock when I see them, as I am sure they won't last.

Very abrasive on first open. Settled down a little after an hour in the decanter, but remained very thin and overly acidic. Might be the current vintage, but as it is this wine is a pass. Much better values at the ~$15 price point.

Very similar to previous vintages.....needs more time in the bottle or after opening. On first pour, aromas of dark fruit a vanilla. Taste was slightly tart with a little alcohol on the throat. However, over the night settled into a great balance of fruit and acidity.

If you have patience, this one always rewards with a great QPR. As will past vintages, I am sure I will wish I laid down a few bottles in a year or two.

Heavy fruit upon opening. Tasted more cherry cough syrup than a chianti. However, settled down over the next few hours to become more approachable. Strange because I really enjoyed past vintages. Will need to try again.

Decanted several hours. Dominated by a lot of red fruit (lots of cherry taste). Not as balanced/integrated as other Barolos, but given the price not the worst buy either. Not sure if more time helps so go ahead and drink up.

Really strong South African Cab blend. Big, ripe fruits. Drinking great right now. While might have some more left wouldn't hesitate to pop right now. Enjoy!

Big zin with plenty of fruit, although not overly jammy like others. Drinking well now, though still might have some time left before peak.

Drinking very well right now, and should continue to open up over the next few years. Very typical Oregon pinot....well balanced but somewhat restrained. Wish I has a few more bottles left.

Fairly basic. Opened up a little on the second day but still not much there. Drink now.

Decanted 3+ hours. Opened up a little over course of drinking, but still young. Oak a little more integrated than I remember from past vintages, but still fairly pronounced. You either love or hate it.....I tend to enjoy. Hold a little longer if you can.
