Nice forest floor on the nose - very easy wine to introduce French wines to a customer
Lighter than I would have thought in the glass very bright ruby colors as well
Tannins half way through the palate that give way to fruit and vanilla
2 or 3 year old barrels but used for white wines previously
Slight white pepper as well- I think the Mourvèdre really adds a lot to the wine
Need to open up. PNP is completely different on the nose. Definitely more fruit forward- it may need a good hour but worth it

Heavier oak on the Syrah that brings out the nose
Good nose
Good round tannins
If you can find this vintage it is doing well on the palate
Tannins carry the flavors but they don't hide in the background

Carignan must be the flavors on the nose
Light than I would have thought
Just a hint "sour" but it works well
Actually going to go well if you need a French wine that is easy and let's the meal take center stage
And cost effective

Really nice easy nose
More fruit structure than the 2011
Both are wonderful with an earthy dishes
Mushroom pate, or tomato & red pepper puree or well seasoned beef
The 2012 let's your meal be the main flavor. 2011 will meld and attempt to race the meal.
Both are their own wines but both are wonderful

For an unfiltered wine this is well done
Must and sediment are present on the nose
Good fruit flavors mixed with earth tones on the palate
Tannins carry the flavors but are soft. For this blend it is soft but can hold itself with meals. With a thick - non meat - tomato/red pepper puree this wine is perfect
Works well with fresh fishes as well as meats
Also note I enjoy unfiltered wines.

Little pricey for the fruit structure of this wine
14.3% alcohol but very smooth with rhubarb flavors
Needs to breath but residual sugars are too much for me.
Slight bitter coffee notes that ride the slight acidity.
Fruit forward with ok transitions across the palate
Almost like they put too much Syrah to add body to the wine.
