Saxum Terry Hoage has consistently been my least favorite Saxum but still good. I think this is drinking quite well but is a bit low on acid. Saved some to try on day 2 and it improved.

Agree with other recent notes. Drinking beautifully. A bit of tertiary aromas and flavors adding to the complexity. Drink now, I do not think it will improve much more.

Same as last year's note: Dark fruit, blackberry, with a bit of earth and mineral. This is in a very good drinking spot and was a great value CdP. I'd say drink now but might remain interesting for years.

Drinking beautifully right out of the gate but improves with a couple hours of air. Nicely evolving with only a tease of tertiary aromas and flavors.

Drinking beautifully. Explosive aromas. Silky texture with intense flavors on the palate. Smooth long finish. Love the Pinots from this producer.

Other recent notes are all over the map. Must be bottle variation and storage factors. I bought this from garagiste in 2016 and properly cellared it up to today. After a few minutes the funk mostly gases off and a very pleasant balance presents. Texture, flavor, finish - classic mature wine with almost no negatives. Surprisingly little sediment. Cork was fully saturated and a bitch to remove. A real find for an inexpensive bx.

Purchased from the winery. Showing well now but tertiary aromas and flavors dominate. Saved some for day 2 and it degraded while corked in the fridge. Drink now.

Fruit forward with low acid and low, soft, tannins. Despite this, it lingers nicely on the palate and is quite enjoyable to sip. Drink now.

Popped and poured. On night one it was a bit stewed fruit and oxidative on the nose. Better on the palate but still seemed a bit disjointed. I wondered if it was already past its prime. Saved 1/3 bottle for night two and the bit of stew/ox aromas were significantly reduced and the wine seemed better integrated. It may be in a bit of a dumb phase. Recommend cellering for another year or two.

Popped and poured. Showing well and typical for Cote-a-Cote. Maybe a little disappointed on the first night - I'd score it 93. Left 1/4 of the bottle in the fridge and then enjoyed 2 days later. Wine blossomed into a seamless delicious whole. I'd rate it 96 on day 2. Unfortunately I have no more bottles otherwise I'd hold it or give it a 24 hour decant. Very good wine.

Decanted and tasted over about 2.5 hours over dinner. Last bottle of this was 5 years ago and I thoroughly enjoyed it. This time tertiary flavors of tobacco and cigar box were much more prevalent. For my palate, these tertiary flavors do not add to the wine at this stage in its development. Still a very good bottle but not delivering at its price point at the moment. Perhaps this is not the ideal point it time to maximize the pleasure from this bottle.

Pop & pour. Surprisingly new world in style. Soft tannins. Just a touch of earth that moves forward as the wine opens up. Concentrated with a rich mouth feel. Pleasant finish. Could use a bit more acid. Drinking very well right now.

Still young so recommend a decant. Dark red fruit, good acid, fairly rich - even for a Barbera. Crowd Pleaser.

Just purchased from the cellar (I think that is the only way to aquire.) Drinking well. Red fruit and sour cherry with forward tannins and good acidity. Showing graceful age and drinking well and there are more years left but I think best enjoyed over then next few years.

This is a new project from the Petitto family and artist Alex Caminiti. Characteristic Aglianico but tannins smoothed a bit by barrique aging. Quite drinkable at this point and best paired with rustic dishes.

I've only tasted a few Pelavergas so have little to compare it with. Light bodied and dry with a backbone of acid and tannins. Best with food but also good as an aperitif with nibbles.

Not sure how this got lost in my cellar but the bottle is still reasonably fresh if not memorable. Muted aromas and flavors. Medium acid. Short, slightly metallic finish.

Still fresh and drinking beautifully. Fruit, rock, a bit of earth, and balanced acidity. Little carbonic characteristic left. Might improve a bit with age but why wait? Another winner from the @MartinesWines book.

Drinking beautifully as a nicely mature bordeaux. Wine is well balanced and does not show any negative aspects of maturity. I don't think it will improve.

First day it was enjoyable but not memorable. Corked remaining half and left if fridge for 2 days. Wine really blossomed at that point. Gained weight, depth, and complexity. Rating is for after 2 days opened.

Classic Santenay aroma profile with secondary aromas and flavors. Some bricking on the color. Dried red fruit, dried rose petals, iron rich mineral flavors. Grippy, pleasant finish. Not sure if it will improve but might.

Initially seemed fully mature and "hurry up and drink" flavors upon opening. I left about half bottle in fridge for 2 days and it did not degrade, in fact it seemed a bit more open and focused. Drink or hold.
