merlot 60% cabernetfranc 40% over an year in french oak. 2001 vintage Brick edge. But core is still deep dark. Expressive nose. Black fruits. Dark plums. Ripe. Smooth leather. Mouth is on the same black fruits profile. Plums and blackcurrants. Long. A good buy from Carrefour

1/18/19, 4:15 AM - yep. I got it for about 20 Euros...and a foir aux vins at Carrefour supermarket. Excellent price for an 18 years old Bordeaux!

was not my favorite wine. although it should not have a lot of oxidative character..it had a lot. But the alchohol burning sensation was the one I did not like.

a metode ancestrale sparkling. so no disgorgement, and also no added sugar for the second fermentation.
Ripe green apples. Brioche. Fresh but with good ripeness. Its a vin mousseux but drinks like a champagne. Liked it a lot.

Indeed if no disgorgement than would be cloudy due to the remaining yeast. Like Prosecco col fondo. So for me to understand....
1. You bottle the wine before it's finished fermentation?
2. At bottling time No sugar is added but the remaining residual sugar and yeast will continue the fermentation in the bottle?
3. Disgorgement is done to remove the dead yeast and bottles are filled with wine from other "une bulle" bottles.
