Intensiv und rund in der Nase wie im Mund. Dunkle Schokolade, Tabakblätter, etwas Paprikapulver und Cassis über den animalischen Noten.
Klassisch Bordeaux, klassisch linkes Ufer. Grosser Wein im Verhältnis zum schwierigen Jahrgang 1994.
Ready to trink but will hold for a few more years

Typical Taittinger aromatics whit lots of elegant nutty brioche, some smoke and citrus fruits. Additional floral notes and a mineral salty long aftertaste. Very elegant and intense on the same time. Pefect structure. We read the notes from well know wine critics to it and had to confirm the most of it (what is not usual as i think). Will hold a few more years, but is full pleasure at the moment.

Bottle was into neck, broken cork when opening. Clear matured bordeaux from a great vintage. Some dark fruits left, well developed and round. Very good balance and very satisfying if you like matured bordeaux.

Very well an classic Bordeaux. Seema to have a fairly percentage of merlot for AOC Margaux. Fantastic smoothness and with 10years of age in the very right spot. I recommend to drink now or within 2 years.

Amazing wine regarding intensity and complexity. Oily structure, mineralic and exotic flavors. Long, fine, deep. Fun to drink bur will improve over the next 10-20 years!

Für das schreckliche Weinjahr 1984 ist er doch erstaunlich stabil. Gute Säure, reife (nur noch dezentr) Frucht, Wald/Laub, Pilze, Tabak, Asche. Etwas dünn aber trotzdem viel Spass im Glas

Very fruit-foward. Intense, complex and all abour balance nevertheless. Works with roasty dishes and sublime meaty dishes as well. Great wine, California Cab for the win!

In der Nase mehrheitlich tertiär Aromen wie Asche, Laub aber auch Trockenbeeren.
Im Mund dominiert Tabak, Rauch und Asche gemeinsam mit reifen süssen Früchten wie Datteln, Johannisbeeren und Feigen. Sehr toll!

Wow! What a great wine in a fantastic spot right now. Still very young, vibrant but also already full of developed aromatics. The glass is loaded with flavours and in the mouth comes the full alluring complexity and neverending lenght. Drink now or wait up to 20 more years!
