Not as good as the 05 consumed recently. Lots of ripe fruit, nicely integrated, plum and cedar flavours. Bit a hint of green/bitter notes on the finish. But still a good wine.

Fresher than my last bottle. Last from a case of 12. Really very good, fully mature, probably won’t get better but will keep. Claret-like, iron, some blueberry. Lovely!

Excellent wine at a perfect spot. Went perfectly with roast pork crackling etc. Lovely integration, hard to pick out flavours. Has a sweetness from the Grenache, and an earthiness from the other grapes.

My last bottle, consumed at a N Rhone tasting with friends. I decanted an hour in advance - which was a mistake. It was great for about 30 mins, then fell apart. Drink up!

Very good. Needs 30 mins to settle and lose that acidic note. After that is a lovely, savoury, drink. A touch of marmite, lovely balance of savoury and sweet.

Dark colour. Definitely mature. Drink soon. Lovely - dark fruits, cocoa, fully integrated. Maybe not typically burgundy, but a very nice drink.

Takes a while to unfurl in the glass - recommend a 2-3 hour decent. Needs more time, but already excellent - classic Nebbiolo.

This is a favourite, and the 2007 may not be the absolute best vintage, but it is lovely. Ready to drink, bit will last. For me, CVNE Imp GR has a richness to add to the classic rioja earthyness.
