Excellent QPR. OK to drink young.

Crimson color with a moderate, characteristic funk on the nose shortly after opening. Medium weight with not tannic grip, but plenty of acidity to carry this forward a little longer... just not likely to improve. Happy with my purchase at <$40, but not a "must have" wine.

Considerably improved over last year or two!

Nice color and bouquet, but I think I waited a little too long (for my preference) with this last bottle, as it's clearly fading. Not bad, at all, but unless you prefer well-aged wines, I'd drink this now, as it has definitely peaked.

So glad I gave my second bottle almost 9 more years - this has aged very well! Not a huge rush, but very drinkable now, with distinctive nuances that make you appreciate the change of pace vs. it’s Napa peers.

Promising, but probably should have waited before starting into my stash.

Great purity and plenty of acidity to handle the alcohol. Guess I was looking for a more unique expression of the varietal, but this is clearly an outstanding (albeit expensive) bottle of wine.

Greatly appreciate this tasty, and surprisingly expressive, gift! A bit sweet in its youth, it still commanded plenty of attention. Gracias!

Geez... I didn't give this one enough credit! Thought it might have peaked when I drank my second bottle a couple of years ago, but this was really singing tonight! Still incredibly lush and well balanced. Wish I had more - great job, Doug!

So smooth and complex... simply fabulous (and it's entered it's drinking window).

Some purple in the glass, but more red fruit on the palate. Far from the best Oakville Cab I’ve ever had, but I can't complain at $25. Soft tannins suggest "no need to wait", but I'm interested to see how my other bottles might develop.

Nicely balanced, very enjoyable wine, that seems to have entered its drinking window, but the QPR is not particularly favorable.

Nice Pinot. More Burgundian than RR (at least relative to expectations). Expected more for the price, however.

Green streak on the nose, but still showed a lot of fruit, with characteristic tobacco and leather. No need to wait, but still very enjoyable.

My read is really between those of the most recent reviewers below. Tannins have definitely mellowed, but there's still some nice fruit... as well as some greener notes. Clearly more Bordeaux-like than most Cali Cabs, but I think that's the point here. Quite enjoyable, but not spectacular, and may not really be "worth the wait" (glad I bought on Futures).

Extremely well made blend. Totally seamless, with everything from nose to mouthfeel engendering a unique characteristic greater than the sum of it's parts. This is why we don't always drink single-varietal wines!

Typically my favorite Turley single-vineyard, but not this one. Tasty, complex and well balanced, but a bit harsh, and lacking in the usual aromatics.

Materially improved since I drank my last bottle a couple of years ago, when it seemed somewhat thin and uninteresting (bottle variation?!?). This still isn't a big Napa door-buster, but it was a very well balanced, Bordeaux-style red that was highly enjoyable with a simple steak dinner. I'm not sure that it's really still "improving", but it wasn't at all tired.

Perfectly suited to our seasoned swordfish. Crisp and clean, as per most Copain whites, but with a little more body than a comparable chardonnay, to hold up to the meatier fish.

Still a little hot on the attack, but the aromatics are singing, and the finish long. Plenty of fruit and acidity. Likely to peak around 2020.

The last few comments are spot-on. Still amazingly tannic (also wish I had more than 2 bottles left, as this could last for MANY years!), and more sweet than lush.

Not the best Boeschen Cab we've had, but certainly enjoyable. A bit green to start, but fruit showed well for the vintage. Oak notable, but in a good way. Good to drink in this window.
