I have bought 12 bottles and have tasted the wine in Montalcino with Mieke and Giovanni. The wine was excellent and we tasted it with two temperatures. 17 degrees Celcius is just perfect. Leather, peppermint, basil, salmiac, tar, herbs...layer after layer. I would a perfect quality versus price (only 25 euro)

I opened two bottles to verify but something is wrong...deep earthy tones...fruit is gone and no attractive bouquet... hints of paint, old vinegar, oil and petrol....disappointing...sorry

I had several discussions in Germany with native people whether they could make a proper red wine...! I am convinced they can and this is for me a good example...! A typical spatburgunder with good tannins, earthy, cherries and very mineral...a sweet cooked red fruit aftertaste like a desert...!

This is my second bottle I opened and I am impressed by the quality! I drank the wine two years ago and it has matured a lot since. Herbs, cherries, basil, nettle, chocolate...animal tones! nice bitterness, still strong tannins! we ate a cheese pasta with it and survived in a perfect way...!

excellent dark fresh fruit, still young with years to go...cherry, berries, pencil, tobacco herbs...high amount of alcohol but still elegant, gentle and subtle...very powerfull...it therefore needs some food...

I opened the first bottle of 12 and got what I hoped! Berries, leather, herbs, minerals, delegate....I am glad that this vintage (where 2003 was really warm and sunny) resulted in a balanced wine that can last and mature for, I think, more than a decade...chapeau for the winemaker!

On the nose all kind of herbs and flowers...a true nebbiolo...quite strong tannins and high acidity and I have tasted much softer and delicate Barolo's but I am still positive on this wine. This wine can last for some more years and looking forward to the possible development.

Excellent wine, surprising though...I bought this wine in Torino at the airport and never expected it to be so good. The wine has a very delicate structure and with traditional Barolo flavours. All kind of nice flower flavours. Between an old and modern Barolo...A hint of cherry and mahony wood, soft tannins and some leather...I still have two more to go...looking forward...

This is an excellent wine. I drank the 2004 but this one is even better. Strong tannins but fully in balance with the fruit. Traditional nebbiolo. Some sort of combinatition between an Amarone and a Barbaresco...It has flavours of a young Barbaresco...I drank this wine in combination with a Avignionesi Grand Annate 1999 and it survived

I cooled yhis wine avoiding it to be too warm. An excellent Rhone wine....pepper, dark sausage, mineral, earthy truffel, old wet wood, good acidity with strong soft tannins. I think this wine is on its top....probably it could age longer but I am scared that the fruit will be gone. This is a powerfull wine...

Modern wine which is much too sweet for my appetite....excessive berries, herbs and artificial. Alcoholnose... I dont understand this wine....probably this wine fits in some market segment

Excellent wine for it's age...Never expected that this wine could survive. The colour is brown and still has red in it...leather, soft tannins, no oxidation, truffel, length, balanced in acidity, tannins and still has some body. I received this wine from a friend and I had the impression that it was gone....I did not decant it which was wise I think. This is one of the surprises I look for....

I tasted this wine in winter, summer, autumn and fall...it allways resulted in a smile. This wine is very mineral, strawberries, soft and delicate tannins, a bit salt, excellent with salmon and light beef. The fruit is fresh and had a lot of sun. The price versus quality is excellent....I will try again the 2007....

fresh herbs, mineral, light red fruit, nice acidity, little sweetness, soft tannins, light pepper. I bought this wine when I was in Willamette Valley. I got the tip from a friend of mine which convinced me to go there for winetasting. I had the impression that only the old world could produce a good Pinot Noir. I taste the ocean in this wine.

Dry wine...with soft tannins for a traditional Barolo , excellent wine which is not very easy to share. Raw uncut, herbs, tea, mushrooms, truffel, mint...high acidity with a little sweetness. I drank this wine without food but with a glass of Pellegrino to relax my mouth. I love this wine....
