Bright red. Beautiful white pepper on the nose. Beautifully balanced, with cracking acidity. Lovely example of cool climate Syrah. Can't wait to see how my other 5 bottles develop over the next decade.

Lovely kerosene notes, which is how I like aging Rieslings. Finesse and complexity. Drink now.

Just lovely, forest floor, mushrooms, raspberries, strawberries, lovely acidity. An absolute joy to drink. I'm glad i have two more!

Good fruit, short finish, nice acidity. A good every-day wine.

We had this gem with our "traditional" Aussie Christmas seafood feast. Just wow. It is beautifully structured, with a strong acidic backbone, lovely citrus/lemongrass undertones, a silky mouth feel, and nice lingering back-palate. It went perfectly with our oysters, sashimi with yuzu/soy marinade, cold cooked scallops and prawns. I have 8 more left, and cannot wait to see what this wine does over the next 20+ years. Pure luxury.

I fear I may have left this a bit too long. It should have been opened 5-10 years ago. Was tired and uninspiring.

I liked this, initial grassy notes, with medium acidity, and a finish that seemed to last forever. Seemed more sav blanc initially, with some of those classic semillon citrus characteristics later on.

Light straw colour, cut grass and strong passionfruit on the nose. Good acidity, hints of citrus. Long finish. NZ sav blancs aren't my go to white, but I didn't mind it.

Sweet and spicy, silky smooth in the mouth, good long finish. The grenache definitely dominates.

It's OK. Certainly didn't knock my socks off. More Cabernet than Shiraz. A little sweet on the nose, smooth on the palate. Not offensive. A quaffable wine.

Creamy, quite full in the mouth. Subtle mineral & flint. Has aged pretty well. Nice.
