My bottle is slightly aged, so, quite yellowy in colour, intense nose of white stone fruits and equally intense stone white fruits palate! Impressive!

7/7/18, 12:49 PM - Hello wineotim, I wonder my bottle aged a bit too long, it lost all those lovely sweet buttery breadiness, also that bit of yeastiness of distinctive Krug charm! Although I have to confess, the intensity of the white stone fruitiness is second to none, almost breathtaking!

Deep ruby in colour! Nearly purple! Pop and pour! This is amazing! Nose of strong black currant flavor an a hint of red fruits in between! After breathing for twenty minutes, it slowly becoming more mineral but still very dark fruits driven! Smooth thick palate, almost meaty texture! Mouthful of dark fruits, minerals and a little bubble gum finish! Very impressive if I'm honest! Again from a remarkable vintage in the Bordeaux region! Singing right now but still can keep for another five years very very easily or possibly longer!

12/8/15, 2:42 AM - Hello John, yes, it is Château d'Angludet vintage 2000, I still remember the night when we popped and poured, the fragrant smell is still in my head! I have to agree with you we all a little bit surprised by it's performance! But it is that good that evening! Of course this sort of impression is very personal, you don't have to agree with me! Please consider I only had only one glass, so note that I can't study the evolution of the wine over the night! Deep deep purple, huge structure, lots...lots of fruit! But I really admire the structure of the wine! No doubt....promising future ahead! Guess it will have at least 25 years of life! Possibly longer!
