Dumped 2 other oxidized bottles that were purchased from the winery and perfectly stored. Significant bottle variation so far, which I haven't experienced before with Arcadian.

This one opened up quickly and was balanced, with lovely blackberry essence and a hint of bacon on the back end. Just past peak, but kept coming back for another sip over several hours.

Another bottle of Joe Davis magic. Subtle aromas of cherries and roses, ripe but balanced, gliding over the palate with just the right amount of acidic bite on the finish that makes you want another sip. Definitely a wine to savor slowly.

Linear cherry on the nose and palate. A little acidic, but balanced by moderate extraction and alcohol. Little change across several hours, which should make for a long life.

Simple at first, but continued to open up over hours and become beguiling. Bright red fruited flavors, deepening and more layered with air. Another solid wine from Tegan.

Actually improved when pumped and stored in the fridge for a few days. Cranberry and tea on the nose, good cherry midpalate, and balanced acidity. Sad to see the end of an era - will have to hold the last one for a few more years.

Aromatic raspberry and earth, with spicy middleweight flavors of wild strawberries and a beautiful acid streak. A wine that you just want to keep smelling and sipping.

Higher acid, which integrated with time. Darker berry flavors - more reminiscent of a CA pinot.

The most consistent producer of "basic" CnD. Great fruit, integrated tannins, perfect balance, and some garrigue to remind you where it came from. Just a stellar bottle that doesn't break the bank.

As wgmccallum more eloquently noted, this is a very tasty wine but lacks complexity. My experience with Bedrock, and I drink lots of them, is that they have a long peak but are more interesting young.

Exquisitely balanced, with pear and vanilla aromas, and a subtle pear-apple palate. Agree that it's one-dimensional, but what a great dimension it is.

Extreme bottle variation. Opened another one, and it was singing with pure blackberries and charcoal on the nose, followed by a long finish - good for another 5 years.

Yin-Yang wine. Definitely ripe, but with significant acidity - doesn't achieve a natural balance.

It's starting to develop a slight sherried quality on the palate, and soon on the nose I suspect. Certainly getting more complex, which is a good thing, because as tanglenet pointed out it's been very linear for the past few years.

Very fruity and slightly sweet, with a mild tartness. Needs some time to integrate and pick up secondary characteristics..

Cherry and balsam aromas, with dark cherry flavors that wrap around the tongue. Subtle grip provides complexity - a delicious blend. Loses some mid-palate after a few hours, so PnP and enjoy.

Initially reduced, similar to all Camelot Highlands vintages I've had, but largely blew off and added complexity to the full ripe fruit. Picked up structure over several hours, and continued to improve. Peaking soon, but should remain enjoyable for several years.
