Brown sugar notes came out on top of sweet fruit. A little VA, but made it even more interesting.

The most consistent producer of "basic" CnD. Great fruit, integrated tannins, perfect balance, and some garrigue to remind you where it came from. Just a stellar bottle that doesn't break the bank.

As wgmccallum more eloquently noted, this is a very tasty wine but lacks complexity. My experience with Bedrock, and I drink lots of them, is that they have a long peak but are more interesting young.

Exquisitely balanced, with pear and vanilla aromas, and a subtle pear-apple palate. Agree that it's one-dimensional, but what a great dimension it is.

Extreme bottle variation. Opened another one, and it was singing with pure blackberries and charcoal on the nose, followed by a long finish - good for another 5 years.

Yin-Yang wine. Definitely ripe, but with significant acidity - doesn't achieve a natural balance.

It's starting to develop a slight sherried quality on the palate, and soon on the nose I suspect. Certainly getting more complex, which is a good thing, because as tanglenet pointed out it's been very linear for the past few years.

Very fruity and slightly sweet, with a mild tartness. Needs some time to integrate and pick up secondary characteristics..

Still pleasant apple and grapefruit aromas, and slightly sweet-tart oxidative flavors. Went great with Vietnamese food.

Cherry and balsam aromas, with dark cherry flavors that wrap around the tongue. Subtle grip provides complexity - a delicious blend. Loses some mid-palate after a few hours, so PnP and enjoy.

Fading fruit, but beautifully balanced with a pomelo nose. The acidity cut through cheese course like a hot knife.

Dumb nose, and some thicker black cherry flavors. A hint of sweetness, and lower acid. A Parkerized wine to share with friends who like that style.

Initially reduced, similar to all Camelot Highlands vintages I've had, but largely blew off and added complexity to the full ripe fruit. Picked up structure over several hours, and continued to improve. Peaking soon, but should remain enjoyable for several years.

A little secondary fermentation, and needs to settle down some, but pure flavors and a long finish. Nothing sticks out as distinctive, but it's delicious.

Medium bodied muddled black raspberry flavor, with little aroma except some high toned esters. UPDATE - Bumped this up a point, since it didn't fade after being pumped and stored for several days. Maybe a late bloomer, like St. innocent used to be.

Lacked acid, and some density, and came off as a one-dimensional apple flavored wine with some residual sugar. Similar to some Pinot Gris, but with less density.

This has changed a lot over the past year. Plum and cherry aromas lead to confectioned black cherry flavors. While tasty, this wine will not make old bones - there's not enough acid to support the fruit.

A few years have done wonders for this wine. Stone fruit aromas, a slightly creamy mouthfeeel, and balanced acidity make this a great Chardonnay alternative.
