Very affordable, easy drinking white. Not dry. Nice buttery and nutty flavor. Pairs well with a variety of dishes. We enjoyed it with a spicy, creamy chicken pasta. At its price point it’s a great “quarantine” wine.

An outstanding wine. Very complex and had different notes as we drank it over the course of several hours. Paired first with light appetizers and then a steak entree. Worked with all dishes. Dark and serious. A cool, smoky flavor and rich fruit after taste.

A surprisingly complex wine. I don't mean that disparagingly because most of Pontchartrain's wines are good and easy to drink. But this has a serious note and complexity I wouldn't ordinarily associate with a wine from Louisiana. Dark hints of smoke and earth with ripe dark cherries or blackberries. Threw off some sediment. Paired really well with grilled filet mignon and steamed squash, onion and carrots.

A very easy drinking wine. At price point could be a good house red. There is nothing complex about this wine but there's really nothing bad, either. Smooth and palatable. Paired well with roast beef po-boys.

Acidic and very lemony. Not bad, but definitely not a big buttery Chardonnay. It was balanced. Paired with spicy chicken and pasta and it went well.

Very pleasant wine. Served it well chilled and it was a great complement to a light grilled chicken and spinach salad. Sweet fruity aromas. Fresh, crisp and sweet flavor. But doesn't have an over the top sugar after taste. Low alcohol content by volume makes it an easy drinker on a hot summer evening.

Dark, smooth. Seems more "manufactured" but has very good fruit flavors and finish. Drank it with a steak and thought it paired well. Complemented the steak without being overpowering.

Balanced and smooth. Had good expectations because the nose on opening was very nice, full of fruit. Had a good ripe berry flavor mixed with a good balance of earthiness. But it faded fast. It did pair well with a basic Italian meatball and spaghetti dish.

Opened in on a special occasion. Brought it to a local steakhouse and had them open it early. Paired perfectly with medium rare filet. Dark fruit and smooth, consistent feel and flavor. Aromatic. Full-bodied and stood up well to the steak.
