Well balanced, concentrated straight forward champagne, good pear early summer blossom, some acidity making it a versatile Chinese canton food companion.

Drank with usual large bordeaux glass, as a result it was closed and lose, black fruits, forest floor but flavors indistinct. Still abundant acidity and tannins suggests another 5-10 years, again should hv used a smaller glass, which would prolly yield entirely different results.

Excellent for the money, herbal cedar opulent nose, consistent palate with slightly imbalanced grainy and acidity spikes. Should improve in a year or two.

Pale sand gold, seductive nose w apricot, lemon, lemon zest, granite, herbs and a light fresh smoke background. W some legs, suggesting good body. Palate slightly lighter than expected, which merges perfectly with pleasant fruits as nose suggested, smoke herbs n granite blends perfectly in the background. Short finish rolls off comfortably but discouraged by slight bitterness.

From Simon.
Flashback...Fainting ruby color, pleasing nose gives hint to a well banaced and thoroughly aged vintage. Good depth and structure on the palate, medium body w/ smooth rolloff. Leaves one wanting for more.
