Whoa. This is incredibly similar to the Sabelli-Frisch Mission - like, on first taste, I did a double take to make sure the bottle was actually Bedrock. Translucent garnet, almost lighter. Strawberry, candied strawberry, and a faint pinot-like nose. Palate is somewhere between a zin wipe ripe red and a new world pinot, with some pepper and black tea. Dusty and fine but present tannins. Better a bit cooler than fully room temp. The varietal seems limited, but the wine does carry a certain sense of place, so giving it a couple extra points here.
