Relatively straightforward, good amount of grip with tannin - a little drying. Med acidity. Cooked red fruit turned smoky on the second day.

Opened up with light hint of TCA. Died quickly afterwards.

Started off with alluring nose medicinal / mushroom, moderate sediment.
Palate - smooth texture, more dark red fruit medicinal and lead pencil but falls over pretty quickly - like flat coke. Not surprised that they don't make this anymore..

Fantastic nose and great power, drinking very well at this moment

Came with few expectations but was suitably impressed. Ripe and ready stewed and candied fruits, a thread of tannin holding it together. Agree with previous comment about lack of structure and not sure if this will hold too much longer - however very enjoyable right now.

Still drinking beautifully, as with other TN's below can easily be compared with aged Nebbiolo - with light integrated tannins, dark cherry on the palate. Decanted for 45 min.

A fantastic nose, signalling that this was once a fantastic wine. However this bottle was unfortunately past its best and very flat on the palate.

Very northern Rhone in style. This wine still retains a fresh and powerful black and white pepper component on the nose. The fruit has slightly faded on the palate, but it is still drinking quite well - although for how much longer, it's hard to tell...

Deep coloured and still very fresh given its age, this wine drank very well and seems it will continue to do so for a good while longer. Lovers of Coleraine should definitely give this a try even just for the sake of comparison.

Half bottle, enjoyed over 2 days. First day was a little shy on the nose but showed quite fresh tropical, pineapple, apricot and honey. Second day was much more open, some of the typical fruit notes from above along with a distinct pastry / brioche nose and a hint of aniseed on the palate.
