Elegant and supple, with integrated berry and cherry fruit, and a medium finish. The tannins have dissipated, leaving a structured but fairly light wine that paired well with a simply grilled steak. Drink now.

A little hot from alcohol when first uncorked, but opened up beautifully after about 90 minutes in the decanter. Smooth, restrained berry fruit, integrated light structure, medium finish. Went well with osso buco.

Decent for a weeknight red. Pleasant, jammy fruit with enough structure and little noticeable tannins or alcohol.

Thin, with none of the fruits or fullness typical of the grape. Little finish. Didn't taste corked but wonder if the bottle was flawed.

Decanted 20 minutes before drinking; opened up quickly and beautifully. Silky, structured berries with subtle vanilla and boxwood notes. Medium finish with more fruit. Should drink well over the next five years but did not think it was too young now.

Delicious right from the start. Medium body, balanced, subdued plum fruit with a slight earthy (in a good, Burgundy way) undertone. Structured, but with no visible tannins, and a soft, medium finish.

Soft cherries and caramel, with more fruit than structure, a shortish finish and no tannins. Pleasant hotel bar wine-by-the-glass.

Medium-bodied with restrained fruit, smooth nose, no acidity, and a medium finish. Did not taste the earthiness that others have noted. Enjoyable and ready to drink.

A very good mix of Burgundian and New World Pinot Noir, with a restraint that balanced its full body. Dried fruit with a hint of earth and funkiness. Decanted for one hour.

Approachable and balanced, with a good mouth feel and soft tannins. Some berries in the mix. Drank with a casual Italian meal, and it worked well.

Medium-bodied, pleasant mouth-feel, with muddled fruit, modest tannins, and a decent but fairly short-lived finish. Drank without food; likely would go well with cheddar cheese or grilled salmon.

Light and enjoyable. Slightly off-dry on the nose, but the structure kicks in. Short, pleasant finish. Drank it with pan roasted salmon, which matched but somewhat overpowered it.

Quite closed, with supple tannins and less fruit than expected. Opened over the course of dinner, but more light than powerful. Enjoyable, but not that special.

Enjoyable weeknight wine; strong value. Alcohol is under 14 percent, and the fruit comes forward quickly (although as more of a fruit salad than strong individual notes). Short finish, and more Beaujolais Nouveau-quaffable than complex, but I'm likely to buy more.

Drank at NOLA by the glass. Very dry and crisp out of the fridge. Added notes of lemon and lemongrass as it warmed up; paired well with creole drumfish entree. Good value.
