Popped and poured served in Riedel bordeaux stem at 8 C. temperature. Light yellow colour. Light bodied. Nose of lemon citrus, hints of cloves, limestone and tree fruit. Crisp bright acidity and a bit angular, with a decent finish after some air time. Would pair well with a light oily dish. I liked it but did not think is deserved the 91 points the Lidl Master of Wine gave it nor Decanter that gave it 89.

Decanted for 1 hour and drank over 3 hours... Decanted and served 60 minutes later. Served in Riedel Bordeaux Vinum stems at 63 F. Clear dark ruby color with little signs of age. Nose was very masculine., tobacco, leather, blackcurrant, toasty charred oak. Over the course of two hours this wine evolved nicely. Excellent balance, full bodied, highly complex, with medium acid. Other notes from palate, dark chocolate, blackberry, and pencil shavings. This wine had the structure to keep aging. Lovely long finish. a big bold masculine Pauillac.. Eventually the fruit emerged along with a very nice earthiness.. Might have rated more highly but wine hit a peak at hour 2 and then slightly declined... Ready to drink Extraordinary
