Really enjoyable Champagne.
Bouquet starts with creamy, peachy notes, mixing some hazelnuts and brioche into the flavor profile. With time some verbena and lemon zest com to mind.
The bubbles are quite intense but very fine. Medium body it has quite a good length.
Would guess it can be enjoyed easily another decade.

What a wonderful 2nd wine from Ridge.
First the primary notes with sour cherries, cassis and some blood orange hit you.
With time more secondary notes with tobacco leaves and umaminess come through.
The tannins are tame in the beginning but come through with lots of bite after 1-2 hours.
Still quite young, would wait for 3-5 more years for prime drinking window.

Really nice Mosel Kabinett.
Stone fruit dominates the bouquet with a nice herbal umami essence.
Should age for a few more years but probably already peaking.

Just a great Nahe Riesling.
Obviously way to young, but One can already envision it’s full potential. Bouquet is very delineated in a citrusy direction with tons of wet stones underneath.
Brilliant, as always this will provide decades of drinking pleasure.

Enjoyable Barbera from a lesser vintage.
Blueberries, other darker fruit and a touch of lemon zest come to mind in this nicely balanced wine.
Medium bodied and fresh I enjoyed it over 3 days with no real sign of aging which indicates easily another decade of aging potential.

Beautiful St. Peray with quite some punch and power.
The bouquet is comprised of spring flowers, stone fruits, slight white pepper and lots of honey.
Medium to full-bodied it has a lot intensity and a long aftertaste.
Excellent right now and should stay at this level for 5-10 more years.

More stone fruits and some mineral definition. OK for what it is.

Wow, really amazing CabFranc from Bourgueil.
The bouquet convinces with sour cherries, but also some darker fruit, dark chocolate, slight blood orange zest and smoky characteristics.
Extremely intense incorporating freshness and richness.
Really young but enjoyable right now, I would give this beautiful wine 1-2 decades of development.

One of the best champagne lately. 50% 2018 / 50% 2019 disgorged 10/22.
Really complex with everything you want from a BdB. Bouquet has lemons and orchard fruit and is quite creamy and rich. On top you have hazelnuts and chalky elements.
Still young at the moment but a lot of fun. Would enjoy it over the next decade.

I always like this special wine from the Mediterranean Sea.

Nice red berry fruit, thyme and some orange zest.
Powerful but smooth, would enjoy it over the first decade and slightly cooled.

Medium body and quaffable. God in what it is.

Excellent Ribeira Sacra from Algueira.
Good note (again) from Forceberry.
Still a lot of juicy fruitiness at age 9, with wild strawberries and sour cherries dominating the flavour profile. At the same time, you get some flinty, smokey notes and a touch rhubarb as well nice white pepper. A little Syrah in a burgundian way comes to mind. Definitely a producer to seek out. Should easily age for another decade.

Brief note.
Good varietal notes with some grassy meadows and gooseberry.
Not very complex but what one would expect from this entry level sauvignon.

Crispy, fresh albariño.
Bouquet of lemon tart, some pineapple, sea breeze and a little caraway seed.
On the palate quite tart and slightly missing a little balance. will be interesting to see if some additional bottle age will mellow it down, slightly. Nevertheless, quite an interesting wine.

Beautiful vibrant Bordeaux, a Coravin Glas today.
The bouquet has lots of primary dark fruit, mint, herbs, nice cedar and tobacco leaves.
The palate is quite chewy and the tannins are refined, but there are tons of them. The wine is mouth-coating with a long finish.
I would guess, its not yet at its prime drinking window but already showing a great potential. I would probably wait a few more years and then enjoy this gorgeous St. Julien for decades to come.

2019 base (66%) Rest from 2010-2018. Disgorged 2022.

Bouquet of stone fruits with some lemon zest, also some mint comes to mind as well as nice brioche creaminess.
For a more or less entry level Champagne this represents good value.

A little less primary aromas than last time, still in need of aeration.
Similar to previous notes with a touch of black truffles. Will see how further bottles progress. Excellent Cornas for this cooler vintage.

Brilliant chardonnay from southern Victoria.
The bouquet mixes herbs, peaches and lemon. Complex, burgundian mouthfeel with nice creaminess due to the bâtonnage during the winemaking.
Should keep easily for a decade or more.

Not your everybodies darling, rather an advanced (sommelier) wine.
The bouquet has some lemon but mainly you feel like in an oyster bar with super fresh products, the sea breeze lingering in the air.
Followed this island wine for 3 days and it did only slightly open up over the days. I would expect, this shows quite some aging potential.
Definetly different, definetly worth the experience.

Definitely an outstanding wine.
So precise, so pure and so much intensity I rarely got outside of burgundy.
The bouquet shows an immense freshness: White pepper, an almost a volcanic, smokey note, spring flowers, cherry fruit, blood orange peel and rose hips.
Its dancing on the palate but for a really long time.
Will develop for quite some time.

Walinauten Zoom Tasting with Titerok-Akalet (Home): Fresh and funky rose/red.
Bouquet has some forest strawberries, some cherries, slight pimientos de padrón and a cloud of smoke with time and flintstone.
Definitly better chilled. I guess not meant for aging, I would enjoy it over the first 2-4 years.

Walinauten Zoom Tasting with Titerok-Akalet (Home): Wow, really exciting discovery here from Lanzarote.
The bouquet has a lot of white peach, saltiness, exotic herbs and pomelo. On the palate its structured but with a nice creamy mouthfeel, coming from the aging on the lees and some batonnage.
This is a serious wine from those young winemaking couple, made from the autochthon varietal malvasia volcanico.

Walinauten Zoom Tasting with Titerok-Akalet (Home): Very pale coper, rose gold color coming from a few days of skin contact.

The bouquet had pears and red apples, with time some rhubarb come along and a touch lemon. Definitely phenolic with a nice sea breeze at the end.
Interesting wine, but a little rough around the edges. Hard to tell, how this will age, but I would guess it has a few years of positive development ahead.

Quite a cellar find here, clearly stating the aging potential of grüner Veltliner here.
Bouquet has local apricots (Marillen) with a whiff of lemon so rather fresh. The palate is structured like a nicely aged burgundy white with extra power.
I wouldn’t age it for decades but I guess it will easily hold for another few years.

Delicate Nose with some tobacco leaves, red fruit and forest floor.
Definitely past its prime (from a half bottle) but holding together quite well, as many 2003 bdx.
Good for the mushroom sauce with saddle of veal.

Definitely exciting Savagnin from Jura if you are not afraid of Vin Naturel.
Bouquet comes with quince, lime zest, mountain flowers and some anise.
The palate has quite some grip and it has a long finish.
Should age nicely for quite some time.

One of my favourite wines from Maria Theresa.
Still in the effervescent style with some Cranberries and Cherries.
We love it year in, year out. Good drinking at 8 years of age.

Quite interesting and different Arneis.
Bouquet with spices, nutmeg, a little saffron, hazelnuts and some stone fruit.
The wine itself is full bodied but smooth at the same time.
This is probably as good as Arneis gets with this extended aging, still it’s not crossing the line towards excellence.

Followed this interesting chardonnay over 2 nights.
In the beginning reminiscent a little of Jura (different than the 2018) with good minerality, a touch quince and a little apple skins.
On day 2 it showed more stone fruit and it was a touch more creamy and burgundian.
Overall an exciting German Chardonnay.

Pretty much at its peak the bouquet starts with roses, some underwood, truffles, plums and with time some red fruit.
On the palate the iron grip of the tannins develops with 1-2 hours.
Quite archetypical Bricco delle Viole a lot of time to stay at this level.

Brilliant German Pinot.
The bouquet comes with chalkiness, pure sour cherries, rose pedals and some Vosne spice.
The palate is quite elegant in the beginning with refined tannins but it really develops on day 2 where it is quite powerful and has a lot of grip.
I would guess, this exciting Bellen has a long future ahead.

Really crisp and youthful Riesling with an exciting development over the hours.
Started with lemon curd and yuzu, with time some curry notes, slight pepper and a little more stone fruit.
I think this has a great future ahead and might gain even more complexity.

Funky Vernatsch from Pranzegg.
Slightly borderline but not crossing it. Bouquet of cranberries, some sour cherries and a little Balsamico.
Quite young on the palate with good grip and length. Only the second Vernatsch in my life I rated at 91+

I quite like this fresh and crisp Pinot from a cooler vintage.
The almost ethereal bouquet has sour cherries, some lime and limestone character. On the palate there are also some wild strawberry notes coming through.
Definitly a wine which lives from its freshness and primary fruit. I would enjoy it in its first 5 years after bottling.

Intense Kerner with a bouquet of pink grapefruit, pomelo and a touch of thyme and mountain herbs.

The name is the program.
Quite pure for a PetNat. Bouquet of lemon and some pear, quite “pure”.
Tasted in Corvara and the bottle was opened under water to prevent spoilage and get rid of to much yeast.
For my opinion this increased the quality of the wine.

Pretty uncompromising sparkling wine.
Bouquet of golden delicious apples, a little lemon and limestone.
It’s zero dosage and definitely not a Charmeur with quite some grip and lots of acidity. Definitely improved with food.
