Rest in peace, Sean. Thanks for all of the wonderful wine.

Miles to go before it sleeps. Like every sweet memory you've had imbued in a savory and sweet elixir. Maybe it's the first taste of port this autumnal season, or maybe it really is just that good. It has the complexity of Chartreuse, but a much simpler and equally time honored recipe! The cork was much more robust and youthful than expected, too.

Opened after a shiva for a friend/peer's son. The flip side of sentience is sentience.

A little bit of what everyone else has said, but I don't think I noticed in anyone else's notes that it has an incredibly delicious long aftertaste.

A perfect wine for a perfect celebration, Biden's inauguration! Zingy blackberry, integrated oak and tannins.
The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, blueberry, black currant (cassis), black pepper and clove. The body is medium/full. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.

Last bottle and it gained strength overnight, so if you have a well stored bottle, give it plenty of air. Alluring fruit compote nose. Dark rich fruits. Mostly soft tannins but with a bit of an edge.

Little to add to the last few notes other than it will not get better than it is right now, so drink em and enjoy em if ya got em. Definitely a beverage of pleasure.

Give it half an hour to open up and it sings. Goes from dark fruit to leather over 45+ seconds. There's some acid to keep it from ever being tedious.

I have always had a soft spot for this Radio-Coteau production. Was concerned that it might be getting long in the tooth before I opened it, but instead found it incredibly vibrant, even at cellar temp. Dark red/purple, lovely legs, meaty red fruits scent and taste.

Stored since delivery in a passive cellar, and recently into a wine fridge after moving. Can't see it getting better, but it sure is good now!

Wasn't sure what to expect. Artificial cork. Nice deep color. nice petite sirah funk. No reason to hold on to them if you have them, but definitely a nice surprise.

First tasted with artisanal sausage with cardamom, orange, etc and held its own, then was more than equal to an assortment of industrial halloween candy. Fun to drink and plennnnnnnty of life left in it.

Delicious with grilled scallops with Momo's Spicy Miso BBQ Sauce, some grilled corn, and a salad of grape tomato, cubed grilled watermelon, and grilled miche. All local as hell, except limes, olive oil and sea salt.

The notes below all do this wine justice. Nothing to add, other than the wine is the perfect accompaniment for the moment.

Still sings with the voice of a bawdy angel. Enough balanced fruit and tannin and acid to last another 5 years easily.

corked, and so sad too, because right next to the cardboard box odors and taste was some damn fine fruit.

Popped and poured from 375 ml bottle. Hitting on all cylinders, more youthful appearance than I would have anticipated. The cab scent jumps from the glass. Tannins still grippy, but fruit takes over with a long sweet finish.

Last bottle of a case purchased back in the day. It has come a long way from its exuberant youth. Beef blood and tomato, with some worn leather on the nose, deep ruby color, deep red fruit flavors with hints of vanilla and some puckery tannin on the finish. Quite excellent for the $13.50 and 10+ years!
