FANTASTIC! My kind of wine. Full bodied cherry to purple fruit, with fine (slightly chewy) mouth filling tannin structure. A wine that one could say is built to age, but perfect for drinking now.

Amazing progression. Tasted over last 2 years with the help of the coravin. Tonight was the night to go all the way. Wonderful nose of blueberry and brambles. Medium/full body with red and blue fruits. Mouth-coating but refined tannins make it oh so delicious.

Medium body, good acid and soft blue fruits but relatively muted overall. Feels like it is entering a dumb phase. Much less exuberant than the first year in bottle.

Cabernet blind tasting night. Up against 15 other bottles in a broad range of regions and styles, came out victorious. Absolutely delicious wine - refined tannnins, rich red fruits, mellowed out acidity, thick texture and a touch of dust and minerality. A great show for Washington wines.

Very nice, smooth and bright cherry flavors and lightly dusty tannins that begged to be tasted again. Very much an Oregon Pinot, but a good one at that.

Absolutely phenomenal. Big and round, dark fruit and dusty minerality. Ready now.

Not as racy or expressive as the first bottle. Structure still there but the fruit is starting to fall back a bit. It would have been a good idea to decant first.

Distinctive. High acid, pure fruit - blackberry, Bing cherry, touch of something exotic. Minerality is omnipresent but side-by-side with the fruit. Harmonious.

Gorgeous bottle. Deep red color, almost purple, with complex nose of red fruits, asphalt and forest. Medium-heavy mouthfeel with lovely favors of blackberry and Bing cherry, with a touch of minerality (copper?) and brambly tannins. Doesn't need any more time in the cellar.

Loved this at the winery in 2013, but what happened? Almost no fruit remaining. Acid was still present, and the tannins were smooth and pleasant. Slight minerality present on the nose, but the qualities ended there. Tasted like a bottle that was 20 years older. Fruit was just absent. Left open 2 days, improved slightly, but this is one wine that did not benefit from additional time in the bottle.

Brown bag wine night - tasted blind in a wide open field. Did not show well - despite decanting prior, still felt closed, somewhat simple. Perhaps many pinos would in this context. Muddy bright fruits, floral nose. Not much complexity nor mineral to enliven the fruit profile. Ended up lowest scoring red of the evening in a field of 10.

3rd bottle from case, and so far the flavor seems not to match the nose.

Delicious. Integrated but nubby tannins and a mellowed out fruit profile. An hour of air made the fruit emerge a bit more but wasn't necessary to enjoy. A couple of years of bottle age really showed on this one.

Big, fruit-forward wine. Obviously wells done in structure, with fine easy tannins, but felt somewhat simple overall. At the price would think some bramble or mineral would be on offer

Awesome. Still could use a few more years to soften tannins further, but a real pleasure now. Big, purple blackberry fruits, but restrained with a bit of minerality and fresh acidity.

Better than the first bottle from the case - but still needs more time. Good fruit, and plenty of acid, with a nice floral tinge to the nose of raspberry. Think I'll try the next bottle in a year or so..

Big fruit it with a touch of complexity and bramble that shows off good winemaking. Wish I had more.

What a window into where this wine is going! Drank over two days. Day one, decanted and drank 4/5ths of the bottle. It's definitely in a "dumb" phase. Had size and weight, but flavor and finish weren't decipherable. Felt ashamed for opening the bottle. All that changed day two - the last glass was like a dream. Clear, focused flavored of black cherry, plum skins, changing to a peach-like flavor at the end. Finish lasted for minutes. Breathtaking. Looking forward to the next 2010 in a few years time.

amazing nose. Darker fruits than I'd normally expect from an Oregon Pinot. A little austere and tart out of the bottle - much fuller, more rounded after about 30 minutes. Tons of aging potential. Will be amazing after a couple more years in the bottle.

Light body. Unremarkable, but drinkable and well made. Could tell it was a cool vintage.

Tasted like a 2eme classe Bordeaux - some level of complexity, with dark fruit and minerality, medium to light mouthfeel. Drank over 2 days, best on day 1 when the stemmy qualities were most apparent.

Drank over two days. Day 1, still closed but aromatic; day 2, deliciously open- full of ripe cherry and berry flavored. Texture thickened up also.
