Chocolate on the nose...Fruit up front (a touch of cherry) smooth in the middle with a very short finish. Very nice, drinking excellent right now. Fruit and tannis are well balanced.

cherries and raspberries on the nose, light and clean. no strong alcohol taste. Not heavy earthy or fruity. i thought it was a touch flat but i prefer bigger wines. My wife loved it because it was "clean and light"

Varietal Composition: 66% Syrah, 22% Zinfandel, 12% Petite Sirah
The Vineyard: This "Coteaux Sauvages" expresses the concentrated "sauvage" flavors that are produced from grapes grown in the red soil at the uppermost edges of our estate. The Syrah, Zinfandel, and Petite Sirah are all from hillside blocks where the light soils allow the vines to make grapes of distinctive concentration.

A small amount of our estate Cabernet Sauvignon is blended in to highlight the structure and rich classic Merlot flavors of this wine.

From producer website - nice rub y red color with some rasperberry. Nose gives off aromas off red and ripe black fruit with woody and spicy notes. The years bring her animal notes, musk and fur. ON pallet wine is silky, full bodied, tannic and well balanced

Well balanced slightly toward the tannis but very drinkable, will be nice to see how other two compare with a little more age
