Decanted for 2 hours and then consumed over 3 hrs. Very intoxicating and exotic nose of cherry/blueberry, floral, smoke. Intense on the palate, medium+ body, mostly blue/black fruited, and olive. Good balance between acid and tannin. Really nice flavor/mouthfeel given the low ABV.

Tasted this over three days, all with a slight chill. Medium body, good balance between fruit and acid, though it is more on the tart side. Fruit bounces between red and blue, medium pepper note, becomes more floral over the 3 days. Tannins are present but not overwhelming

2hr decant.

Nose: dark fruit, slight herbaceousness and vanilla. There is a little alcohol heat. No oak or sweetness which is a good thing.

Taste: Medium body. Vanilla. Dark fruits, more red fruited. Medium acidity, enough that this isn’t flabby. Tannins are present on the finish but not overwhelming. Alcohol does carry over from the nose but isn’t distracting. Medium length finish.

Very good Napa Cab for the price. Easy drinker that can go a few more years.

Coravin Sample on 7/26/15: Earthy and fruity nose. Medium body, fruit dominant (blackberry, cherry), light acid, very strong tannins. Short finish that is very bitter. Give this some time.
