Bright red berry fruit, cherry cola, slight baking spice note with a touch of oak. Great acidity with not much tannin. I think this needs 4-5 more years to hit its sweet spot but still a fun bottle today. Admittedly, I thought I was opening the 2021 vintage

Garnet. Raisinoid. Drinks like a baby Barolo. High acid, grippy tannins on the taste. Long finish. Starting to approach these. Full bodied, long finish. Never decant.

    12/29/23, 3:55 PM - Hey Woodie: The Doctors are purists about decanting and prefer to let the wine evolve in the glass. We've protected the wine from unnecessary exposure to the elements and prefer to allow the individual to experience the wine as they like. Personal preference for sure...

Golden. Beefy legs. Color to rim. Initially phenolic. Unctous. With scampi and garlic bread. A massive full bodied wine. Molto buono.
