Better than expected because the first impression when opening the the bottle was not nice (funky, sour nose and taste together with some spritz!
But after some time it was actually drinkable 🍷. Ripe strawberries, cranberries, some wood and only a minor funkiness in the nose
Some bitterness, sour cherries combined with ripe strawberries, woodiness and anise on the palate.
Worked surprisingly with a gratinated chanterelle toast with smoked reindeer and pomegranate. The notes are based on the match with the food😊
