phenomenal out of magnum. stored since release in same cellar. one of the greatest examples of California cabernet. Vera's 80th at Craft Steak House LV.

Day 1 the wine was muted and crisp, delicious but I missed the hype. We decided to hold the 2nd half of the bottle for the next night and it was an absolutely knock out.

Opened for an hour but not decanted, mistake. Should have given it a 1-2 hour decanting. Came across a bit more rigid than the 2004, a touch of heat on the finish. Lots of fruit. The color was beautiful, but the nose muted. Try again in 2017. Potential to be a 93+
