Black cherries and tea in wonderful balance. It has a mouthfeel that really stands out for me and makes me want more! Sipped over two days with no fall-off in quality.

I'm a big fan of Eric Kent Pinots having bought them over the past few vintages. I found the 08 RRV to be enjoyable but not quite up to the standards of the Stiling Vineyard releases I've had in the past. The flavor profile was very appealing to me- red cherries and some raspberry wrapped in spice. But it seemed to lacking in acidity and the finish was a bit clipped. I know I tried this way before I probably should have and perhaps I'll see improvement in coming bottles.

To be clear, it was an enjoyable Pinot and I'm picking nits. I look forward to trying again in a year or two.

Very enjoyable over two nights. Bright cherry and spice with underlying spice. Nicely balanced. Held up very well over the two nights.

The 2002 Little Hill just wasn't up to the normal Rochioli standard for their SVDs. A little too dry and tannic and lacking much complexity. It's an enjoyable bottle- just a bit disappointing given its pedigree.

This was my third or fourth bottle of the Core Saroyan grenache. The others had a distinct flavor of Dentyne gum behind the strawberry notes. Very interesting and desired flavor. This time- no Dentyne but lovely floral perfume lurked beneath the red fruits. Love it- will order more.

Mouth-filling flavors of strawberries with a bit of powdered cocoa on the finish. Not overly complex but very satisfying. A velevety mouth feel. Ample acidity to carry the flavors.

Tasted by Pinotdog- Bright, bright strawberry/red cherry flavors wrapped in a hint of citrus and spice. Lots of acidity, in a good way. Mouth-filling flavor and a long finish. Obviously youthful now, this one should develop nicely over the next few years.

Blackberry jam, a touch of mocha, ample acidity and just a hint of heat. I look forward to the evolution of my remaining bottles!
