A lovely little burgundy that is drinking very nicely at this age. No reason to hold any longer. Still very fine and bright with some very enjoyable berry flavours.

Spectacular port. At least as enjoyable as my 77 Taylor. Perfect age as well. Makes me think I should start on my 94s.

This port is probably the best i have ever had. 40 years old and still magnificent. Perfect blend of fruit and a little heat. Seasonal fruit cake or stinky cheese make a suitable pairing

Starting to flirt with oxidation but it blew off in 20 minutes yielding a spectacular full bodied CalCab. Too bad we can't find it in our area any more. Probably getting near is best before.

One of the best vintage ports I have ever tasted. Perfectly balanced fruit and alcohol. 39 years old and still a winner.

I would agree with this comment "The texture is almost velvety, the finish piquant; the length is excellent. Authentic Tuscan red."John Szabo
Drinking beautifully now. Don't wait if you have some.

Surprisingly this wine needed 1.5-2.0 hours to really hit its stride. The cork was a little damp showing a bit of leakage but there was no trace of oxidation or cork. Very closed and disappointing until the two hour mark when the nose opened and revealed a spectacular sleeping giant underneath. Along with Bin 707 my fav wine from Australia

Double decanted this bottle and it seemed to smooth it out. Smooth subtle buttery flavour shows over the unusual tropical notes from the first bottle. Nice supporting acidity.

Beautiful flavourful wine above medium weight. Classic Pinot flavours. Think fine Burgundy not New World.

After this wine was open for 1 hour the bouquet really started to show the typical anise scent from Provence. A rich long finish. This wine seems to need a good 14 years in the bottle to reach its full potential. Still has a lot of life in it. Wish i Had more.

Lovely nose and generous fruit on the palate balanced nicely with tannins even at this age. Well worth the wait. Never disappointed in Wynns in any price range.

quite an enjoyable California blend. Needs a little time in the decanter to develop. A bit soft so more a stand alone than a good food companion.

A very interesting chardonnay with some interesting spiciness on top of all of the regular high quality buttery notes. unlike a lot of the community i didn't find this wine over the top in oak.

Beautiful velvety Valpolicella. Hard to believe it could be this good at this age. Just some amarone hints of dried fruit but really quite fresh overall. An excellent wine

a little on the sweet side which is typical for Graham's but a magnificent vintage port that paired beautifully with Blue Elizabeth cheese.

A very large wine that has something strange happening on the mid palate. Some herbal flavour which conflicts with the rest of the wine. This was masked by the rich cheese with which it was served.

A healthy dose of brett which made the initial taste a little off-putting. With a flavourfull meat dish it was quite nice but not what I was expecting.

This is a magnificent wine and unfortunately my last bottle. Has integrated all the minty eucalyptus from its youth. Still strong flavours of blackberry jam, coffee, vanilla and plum. I am surprised that the rating is so low in the community. This bottle could have lasted another 5 years.

Spectacular Barbaresco. Generally agree with everything the community has to say about it. Bouquet fills the room. Really needs some good food on the side. The tannins are still quite present. Probably still has a number of fine years ahead.

Still a lovely full bodied chardonnay with a fairly heavy wood component but not so that it is overwhelming. Very creamy texture.

Even though I am a big riesling fan I find it hard to justify the price that is charged for this wine. Give me a fine spatlese with a nice acidic spine over this wine any day. Maybe I am missing the point here but even with all kinds of interesting flavours I am just overwhelmed with the sweetness. A good sauterne would be a much better choice. There are a few more bottles in my cellar so lets see if its an acquired taste.

After reading the other tasting notes I now feel that my bottle was flawed. This wine didn't have the power that other members refer too. The bottle had leaked somewhat and was down half-way on the neck. The flavours although not unpleasant were much more muted than I would have expected for this price range. Fortunately I have a couple more bottles left. Perhaps they will impress me more.

Awesome Aussie cab. Deep dark and fragrant. Community notes of cassis dark choc and dark fruits all ring true. At least one hour decant requires.

This wine just keeps on giving well into its 16th year. The eucalyptus that was so overwhelming in youth has been replaced by concentration and balance. The nose might have eased off a bit but still lots of weight on the palate. Very enjoyable.

This is a surprising good port although not quite as good as vintage but at 1/4 of the price.A little sweeter than vintage without the tension. A good everyday solution. However i paid a lot less for this than the community average.

A very nice wine but a little too bold for my taste. Needs a serious two hours in the decanter followed by a big piece of red meat. Anything less will be overwhelmed by this wine. Could even handle five more years in the bottle.
