Popped and kept in the kitchen refrigerator for a month or so. Used at the beginning and end in batches of Ina Garten's Minestrone.

Popped and poured. Opened a 375 of this after 3 of us polished off full bottles of 2010 Cantemerle, 2014 Dame de Montrose, and 2016 Tronquoy-Lalande.
All showed incredibly well - alone and accompanying our dinner of mushroom ravioli mixed with butternut squash ravioli in marinara sauce. All were roughly equal in appeal, but this stood out with a greater richness of fruit and length of finish.

Opened alongside a 1982 Ch. Margaux. Double decanted before beginning dinner prep.
Complex nose, tannin in check, lingering finish.
This is already drinking quite well, with superb balance, although few more years may help bring out some more subtle nuances.

Opened to celebrate 3 recent birthdays, dad, wife, and old friend. Decanted. The cork broke and the bottom pushed back into the bottle making filtration a chore.
Opened up in short time and held thru the last sip during dinner a a couple hours later.
Awesome nose. Soft on the palate. Went very well with the grilled salmon and roasted fennel. My wife and dad loved it. My friend preferred the 2012 Rauzan-Segla I also opened. I was happy to drink either one.
However, a profound bottle of 1982 Ch. Talbot from a couple years ago exceeds my experience with both bottles of the '82 Ch. Margaux I've had.

Drank on the heels of a 2012 Lanessan. This is more structured and fuller bodied but the same fruit profile was apparent.
Edited to add: Was popped and poured, but should have been decanted for the substantial sediment discovered near the end of the bottle.

Was open for business right away. Deep red color and full bodied, showing rich dark fruit, some earth and baking spices, with a medium long finish. Very nice, and a much better showing than my previous bottle in 2021.

Tannic on night one, at first. A component of dried herbs was revealed on night two, making the wine quite a pleasure.

Double decanted in the morning. Drank in the evening with Everything Ahead at his house alongside a 2014 Malescot St-Exupery and a 2014 Bandol.
This was the most structured of the three, although more expressive than my previous bottle, and more open than a 2014 Leoville Barton opened recently.
Ample fruit and tannin for long aging, medium acidity, well integrated oak, and a lengthy finish.
