Well balanced Pinot. Thinner garnet red with a slight hint of orange at the edge. After about an hour of in-glass decant it really opened up to some nice peppery cherries with some dusty earth and mushrooms. I probably wouldn't have opened it this soon were it not for noticing it was only filled to the shoulder.

Still a youthful purple with a touch of cranberry red on the edges. Tons of raspberry/black raspberry mixed with a little creamy vanilla oak. Nice structure and smooth tannins. Drinking very nicely right now. Wonderful long finish of tart fresh raspberries.

Off-putting initially. Very awkward, in-your-face alcohol, tasted of cheap vodka with a lemon twist. As it sat longer the alcohol tamed and it started to taste like sucking on a lime wedge with a slightly bitter lemon peel finish. Excellent acidity but didn't pair very well with a spicy chicken and couscous dish.

Luscious black cherry, some leather and spice, a little tar, good structure and nice acidity. Lucky find at a local restaurant. Went very well with eggplant parmigiana.

Decanted about 2 hours prior to tasting. Huge bowl of berries, well integrated oak. Gave the sensation of fresh berries with loads of cream. Long smooth finish. Definitely enjoyed this.

The color on this one had me a bit puzzled as it's showing some orange tint on the edges of a deep garnet - suggesting to me oxidation a little earlier than I'd expect. There isn't a lot going on in the glass. In the 1st hour the nose showed raspberry and mocha note - actually a very pretty nose but the mid-palate was devoid of any fruit or really any flavor at all. It's got decent acidity and paired fairly well with a salad of spinach, steak, roasted pecan, and dressed with a touch of balsamic vinaigrette. Brief finish with the mocha note. 2 hours in there's a little more fruit there but it is more toward cherry with some milky oak rounding out the finish. There's also very little tannin so it's smooth and slides down easily. A decent enough bottle for the price but nothing that rocked my world.

Quite a nice off dry white. Very floral nose. Well balanced on the palate with some floral and white fruit. Strong peach on the finish. Paired with seasoned fish fry (walleye) and roasted potatoes and complimented nicely.

Shockingly it was still quite alive and drinkable exhibiting typical citrus notes.

Very closed nose. Not a lot of fruit and extremely dry ... more pepper and anise than anything.

Popped and poured. Very tight and tannic initally but opened over 2 hours. Off balance and bitter finish. Gasoline, tar and leather. Very much an old world wine.

Delicious full fruit zin with some back end spice. A bit of cinnamon on the nose. Velvety tannins and satin mouthfeel. Really enjoyed this bottle. Had it at Cesare's with beef tenderloin.

Popped and poured. Hot right out of the bottle but opened up nicely to reveal some nice fruit and mocha. Nice mouthfeel and velvety tannins. Good long finish. Fell apart maybe 2 hours after in the glass - very acidic and unpleasant at that point.

Nice smooth drinker with a bit of spice and meat working nicely with the soft black fruit. Accidentally inhaled a bit and got a very strong prune taste. 87?

Very closed initially, about 30 minutes in there was a window of nice red fruit. Fell apart quickly to the point of dumping the remainder.

Nice, simple, easy-drinking red. Mellow, velvety, a touch meaty and spicy. A bit of an awkward finish that felt like skim milk.

Popped and poured. Enjoyed with pasta/clam sauce. Slightly lacking in the laser acidity some of the Marlborough SB's have but beautiful peach citrus nose/palate. Lovely round finish. Was like drinking Snapple Peach Lemonade. 88+

Popped and poured. Stinky, stinky nose initially ... sweaty socks. Some light strawberries with a little veggie and black pepper. I thought "celery?" 2nd night - beautiful balance, pepper, plum and berries. 87+
