In a very unique place right now. Black olive notes and other tertiary notes totally dominate the nose. But on the palate a different story, mites red fruit and very smooth drinking. A must try for anyone looking to try some semi aged Tempranillo.

If the oak(vanilla) was turned down just a bit it would have worked . It’s close though!

A bit too peachy for me without enough acid to keep it in balance

Definitely a rebuy. Loads of cherries, a touch of rusticity. Medium acidity, body and length. Tannins, if any , are so well integrated that is a seamless issue. Purity of fruit at the forefront, and a nose which gives a faint remembrance of vintage port fora fleeting moment.

88+ a bit dry Riesling ish. No stone fruits though, all citrus (lemon) we’ll made just not that inspiring.

VERY austere upon opening, although such a fantastic nose that had me thinking this was going in another direction. Tightly wound up with lemony accents , slight chalkiness and not much else. Opened up after some time in the glass but never managed to do it for me. Medium minus mouthfeel and the same with the shortish finish. Well made but this style?, bottling not my style at the moment. Probably not the wisest to pair with scallops and garlicky ( on the light side) lemon pasta. Wasn’t a home run of a pairing

Everything from nose to palate told me this was a Chardonnay, not a Riesling from a super high quality Riesling producer from the Finger Lakes. Maybe the malo went off the rails on this one.

Everyday wine, had some VA to blow off but once it did it served it’s purpose. Rebuy at $10, quite possibly.

Notes of coconut leaping from the glass. A little dill? also. Smoothed out tannins, fruit in the background. Was expecting a bit more but very enjoyable nonetheless. Rebuy? Probably not

Very elegant, showing slightly muted ruby color. Fruit is fading a good bit, acid still holding the line. Medium finish. Probably still has some life left

92+funky upon opening. Just needs time in the glass, color is definitely bricking to a beautiful hue of orange. Not too much fruit left, good acidity and a medium minus finish. In a place that is not for everyone and doesn’t have that much life left. But I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Made me feel like we were drinking a baby Krug. That’s how much this wine impressed us. Definitely a rebuy! We’ll done Brits.

Better than Prosecco, on par with some domestic sparklers but DEFINITELY NOT CHampagne

The nose is reminiscent of Canadian ice wine, although the mouthfeel is a bit lacking. Very clean finish with no cloying sweetness. We’ll done, good entry level dessert wine .

Really good all purpose white. Underripe stone fruits, pleasant and inoffensive. Medium minus body and the finish as well.

A bit rustic upon opening, took a while to settle down . Aromaticly speaking though, absolutely nothing coming out of the glass, kinda weird since the palate is red fruit and a bit of spice. Medium minus finish. Maybe this bottling needed a few more years to really integrate and get out of this phase(?)

For the price, the entry level brut cuvée is far and away better.

Took quite some time opening up but when it did, very nice. The fruit never came to r forefront though , which would be my only complaint. A decanting would work wonders IMO . The acidity, tannin and spice on the palate kept this moving along nicely. Not my favorite bottle from a great winery.

Had this after a Krug 164 and it held up very well. I thought it was in the same vein as the Krug. With a bit more orchard fruit , a little more crispness for a third of the price . I’m not sure if it has the complexity or roundness to compete with the Grand Cuvée , still a very well made wine.

Really interesting juice, one that needs your full attention to capture all it has to offer. If not, it can easily be lost not fully realized. Still really really banging if you’re into this style. Everyone says it has years and years to go but I think it’s a pretty good drinking window right now.

To be honest a little disappointed with this bottling. Fine mousse, subdued nose Nd not much on the palate outside of some apple and pears. Fairly short finish. For 50& retail one can do much much better. Probably won’t come back to this one for some time

Absolutely gorgeous, style wise a cross between Brooks and White Rose. Pretty nose of strawberry, a bit of chocolate and spice too. Palate confirms all the above with acidity in balance. Smooth fine grained tannin. Moderately long finish. Well done and will hold other bottle for 2-5 more years.

91 plus , not super apparent that this is a Wilamette valley bottling on the nose alone. Very acidic though, red fruited with mild tannins and a moderate plus finish. A bit rustic that just barely puts it out of my sweet spot. Well made and can certainly age for 5-7 all least.

No harm in either drinking this now or letting it rest in the cellar. Fruit driven with good concentration. Bold mouthfeel with moderate minus tannin, very good length. Rebuy? Yes but for the cellar

90+ almost a dry Riesling quality to it. Just a faint wisp of grapefruit zest on the nose. Not overly complex but well done nonetheless.needs a bit of air and it opens up quite a bit.

Smelled a bit like gewurztraminer at first. Clean and zippy if a touch simple, but great poolside on a hot day!

Had immediately after a Brooks 2017 Sunset Ridge bottle, and although very good, a step or two behind the Brooks. Both aromaticly and finish wise mainly.

Solid at 40$. Nothing too complex , just very on point and enjoyable. One can tell the extra brut designation, however this is not an austere wine. DEFINITELY A REBUY

I have to edit my original posting for this particular bottle. The wings that I had eaten before drinking this most likely destroyed my palate. In terms of recognizing the subtleties of this wine. The green-ness and (to me) the cab franc likeness were wrecked by e wing sauces. Tasted almost a week later this wine was mildly to very enjoyable to ingest.

89 + simple but not ina demeaning way. Warm fruited, moderate acidity, low tannin. Great mouthfeel and just too easy to drink. No rusticity here, still quite young . Don’t think it will improve that much with time, could be wrong but just no acid or tannic backbone. Well priced at 25$. Rebuy, yes!
