Popped and let it sit for a few hours before pouring. Deep purple, a bit closed on the nose. Soft tannins, dark blackberry and dark chocolate. Delightful.

Drinking beautifully right now. Tannins have softened. Oak, leather and forest floor earth. Someone mentioned green bell pepper, and that’s coming through strong noe.

PnP’ed a glass and let sit about an hour. Overwhelming tannins, so I let sit in bottle over night. 24 hours later tried a second glass, and wow! Opened up nicely to reveal deep, dark fruit, smoke, leather and a touch of dark chocolate. THis is drinking beautifully now, but lot’s of structure still left. Glad I have a couple bottles left.

Opened first bottle 24 hours after receiving shipment. Immediate reaction, very closed and awkward. 2 hours in a glass and wow what a difference. Still needs to settle, and very young. But I expect this to only get better. Very happy with this purchase. Believe this will drink much better than it’s price.

Wow! Feeling like this wine has really come into its own now. It has lost some of its rampant herbaciousness and has mellowed, but damn it is finally exhibiting the promise it showed early on.

A delightfully graceful syrah with luscious caramel and dark cherry on the palate. Popped this a few hours before dinner and this disappeared fast. Fantastic! Garagiste nailed this one.

This wine seems to have improved quite a bit in the past year. Still not a great deal of depth, but nice cherry cola, earthy with red berries on the palate. Very enjoyable.
