A lot of fruit, very forward, which was great with food from our favorite Thai restaurant.

Somewhat complex, a lot of fruit flavor with some tannins, forward but the taste continues on and on.

Wonder rich, deep flavor but not a lot of complexity, fruit or alcohol. This could be the peak moment for this wine if decanted for an hour or so.

This was drinking at its peak, very balance with a nice complexity. It was a great match with a cream sauce made with blonde morel mushrooms (in season from the Northwest) with tortellini and grilled scallops.

The wine looks Garnet colored. The legs are Slow. It smells like Strawberry, Black currant (cassis), and Blueberry. It tastes like and Strawberry Jam. The body is Light/Medium. The wine has Satin-like texture. The wine finishes Short.

Good fruit, lemon, pineapple, green apple, with a nice finish. Still has a lot of life, drinking on the way up.

It almost seemed corked at first. After about 1/2 hour it blew off and was drinking fine but not very fruity or tannic with mild Italian food.

Drinking on its way up to its peak. Maybe in fact a little overpowering for the braised scallops with mushrooms, red peppers, peas and broccoli.

Rich though somewhat light purple, Subtle Volnay nose, characteristically burgundy, with immediate blueberry and strawberry fruit on the lips and tongue, continuing into depth of a stronger taste of blackberry and bosenberry filling the entire mouth and throat. Drinking on its way up, for a year or two for me, but depends if you like your wine like the French or English.

Still very young and thin, though still hints of complexity. Much better the next evening, a lot fuller.

Very thin. Never opened up. The good news is that it did not over power any of the French food at the Bistro, including scallops and poached egg.

This bottle was a bit disappointing. It lacked fruit and acidity, no real body. Perhaps the spicy Indian food was too much for it.

Very nice with a smokey duck confit salad, holding up well, should peak in a couple of years.

The wine is a bit over the hill, more fruit than acidity. However it worked well with a hot peppered dish.
