Falls off a little from tasting 2 years ago. Still a well balanced wine, but the loss of some of the past sweetness makes it a little more ordinary.

Was expecting a more over the top kind of wine. Found this to be well balanced although still fairly extracted bottle. Dusty plum, black tea, and blackberries.

Consistent with prior bottles, interestingly, this has not changed much over the last number of years. No rush to drink, but I also don't see a lot of additional growth in this vintage.

A very balanced but powerful Cal Cab. Mixed red and blue fruit, some yeasty notes. Will be interesting to try again in a few years. I was expecting more extraction and oak, instead the wine was very balanced.

Open for 3 days, really singing by the 3rd day. Great depth and length. Solid acidity and pretty powerful tannins. Well balanced, food friendly.

This is an immense fruit bomb, like 90's Aussie level fruit bomb. The only thing missing is the heavy dose of oak. Massive black and red fruit. It actually feels pretty out of joint. First bottle of four, so time will tell.

Not as much funk on opening as I've had in the past which could be a result of it being a bit older. Palate moves from black fruit to green olives, to iron and strawberries. A multi layered joy to drink.

Highly extracted, all plum flavors. But it does do this well.

Enticing nose, olive, flowers, a little green vegetable and a bit of funk. Still very young tasting up front, strawberry, some savory notes, iron. Mouth coating but with a good edge of acidity. Longish finish.

One of the best Turley wines I've had in a while. Very fresh strawberry nose. Add spice for the palate. Pretty well resolved at this point, but was not anywhere near a downhill trajectory yet.

Hard to keep my hands off it, so opened one pretty early in its life. Fantastic WW Cab which also happens to be really nice right away. Obviously still very red fruit/black fruit driven at this point, but nothing out of balance.

Agree with some of the notes below, this wine has a lot of stuffing and will develop much further with some time. Good acidity, good fruit.

Still pretty youthful, Day 1 is quite vibrant with some oak still present and blue fruit. Day 2 is a tad more plummy with some light tertiary development. Quite nice.

Last bottle of this sadly. These Full Pull Bordeaux blends are becoming a blind buy for me. Way over delivers against price, insane QPR.

Fully realized bottle, well balanced, fine tannins, very little oak influence left. Still maintains strong fruit presence and has a medium body with a good finish.

One of saltiest wines I have ever had, really over the top savory flavors on Day 1. On Day 2 that had blown off a bit and you could access the fruit again. Strange to open a wine that has the tertiary flavors more associated with an older wine.

Starting to move to a brick color, but still a fair amount of garnet in color. Nose is fairly black fruit based. Good acidity and medium length. Flavors are still pretty primal, black and blue fruit, but not overwhelming. No developed tertiary flavors at this time.

Infanticide, but very enjoyable early, still a lot of oak and more a bundle of sticks than a unified whole. Revisit in a few years.

Two nights. First night - still very primal and young, brambly blue fruit and spices. Second night - more extracted and plummy with some wet leaves on the nose.

Still just a baby. Opened and didn't really let sit for any period of time. Should have done so, because it didn't really start opening up right away, end of the bottle was just starting to hint at the future.

An interesting wine over 2 nights. On night one, still pretty young and fresh and a little reticent - red fruit, pretty integrated with no real oak or wood influence. On night two, much more open and showing tertiary development, including a fairly strong impression of cigar tobacco.

Tale of two nights. First night the wine still had some primal qualities, red/blue fruit mix and some residue of the original barrel time, but really woven together pretty well. On the second night, the fruit fades and the tertiary flavors take over, so wet leaves come to the forefront. An interesting bottle over two days.

A slightly different animal from other AW bottlings, but the grape doesn't fall far from the vine, as this is Will's wine I believe. This wine punches you in the face a little more upfront, but also exhibits good balance and a full dose of black fruit. Long finish.

Very Cayuse like but approachable early. A lot of Cayuse funk up front, held in the glass for about an hour. Red fruit, olives, and some stewed vegetables on the palate. Actually preferred it first day over the second.

This strikes me as a real velvet glove merlot. Pretty enough, but with a hefty punch behind it. It's modern style St. Emilion in its way. Full of blue fruits and sort of singular in approach, it's a crowd pleaser.

Perhaps one of the best PV's I have ever had. More robust then other versions I've had from this vineyard, it's full of black fruits and fairly tannic. It is well balanced so doesn't beat you over the head, but can be enjoyed on its own or with a steak.

A very good, but very basic Burgundy Nose is all barnyard and leaves, no real Burgundy perfume. On the palate a deep fairly ripe sour cherry and some savory undertones. Hints of Vosne power but lacking in finish and complexity.

Always a great QPR, maybe one of the best Rhones available at this price year in year out. Quite a sweet version this year, offset with some dough and a little earthiness. Will be a crowd pleaser.
