A beautiful wine.
Powerful but with lots of finesse.
Still Young. Will develop for at least 5, probably 10 years.
I am impressed.
The best AOC Ventoux-wine that I have tasted.

This is a stunning Côtes-du-Rhône!
Strawberries, licorice, herbs, candy, orange-peel, rose hips...
Perfectly balanced.
Beautiful to drink right now.

A beautiful nose. Typical Bordeaux the way I like it.
Some oak, cigar, cedar, black currants, flowers, some earth, a touch of grass...
A nice, well balanced wine. Could use some more ”power".

The oak is now well integrated.
Dark cherries, dark chocolate, violets, perfume, licorice, a touch of raisin...

A beautiful Barolo. Powerful.
Red berries, roses, cherries, rosehips, hardwood, some leather....
This is a wine that You can keep for several years.

A fantastic wine at it's prime.
On the nose I find oak, cedar, tobacco, violets, dried flowers, black currant, licorice, cherries...
The palate is wonderful with impeccable balance and notes of black currant, cedar, dark plums, a touch of mint...
For me this wine is perfect to drink right now.

On the palate the wine is powerful but with elegance. Similar to the nose with lots and lots of dark fruits, some oak, green herbs, a touch of Portwine... The taste lasts for a long, long time.
The wine wine was drunk over several hours and improved the whole evening. This is a wine that You can keep for a long time, if You have the patience.

A treat to drink this wine with good friends.

Dark fruits, licorice, minerals, black olives...
Dense, dark and powerful. Nice acidity och firm tannins.
A fullbodied Grenache-dominated (with some Carignan and Cinsault) wine
Drunken over two days and the wine just improves over time.
You can keep this wine for several years but it is beautiful now.
Outstanding quality for the price!

This is a powerful but still very elegant wine.
Lots of dark fruits, licorice, rose hips, herbs, peppers, lavender, some smoke...
Good acidity and firm tannins with a touch of sweetness at the end.

A very elegant and complex wine.
On the nose lots of red fruits,herbs, candy, licorice, strawberries, walnuts...
The taste is a bit more powerful with darker fruits, herbs, licorice...

A little bit disappointed.
On the other hand very "Pegau-like".
Lots of roasted oak, "brettanomyces", barnyard, but also herbs, smoked meat, red berries and some roses...
You kind of known what You can expect, and what You get!

A really, really nice wine from Priorat made from 95% Carinea and 5% Garnacha.
A big, powerful nose with lots of fruit, candy, sweet licorice, some wood...
On the palate it is surprisingly fresh, still youthful with red fresh berries, great balance and a hint of dried fruits at the end. Very long!
This is a wine that You can keep for a long time.
A great wine that I wish that I had a few more of.

Bottled autumn 2011.
A really, really good Champagne.
Yellow apples, roasted nuts, a hint of coffee, flowers, herbs, some honey at the end...
Fresh, rich, balanced and powerful!

A beautiful Chateauneuf-du-Pape!
On the nose I find red berries, candy, herbs, licorice, black currants, roasted meat, chocolate, "sugar"... Really nice!
The taste is well balanced and youthful with lots of fruit, dark berries, licorice, chocolate, herbs...

In my opinion it is really good now but will of course improve with age.

Golden yellow colour.

Sweet with a nice high acidity.
Peaches, dried apricots, pineapple...

A wine that I like a lot.
The 187ml-bottle is perfect for two persons but actually enough for four.

A really nice NV-Champagne.

Great bubbles.
Fresh taste with green apples, lemons, lime...

Still young and I am sure it will develop for a few years.

Quite dark colour with some maturity on the rim.

On the nose I find oak, toffee, black currants, grass, cedar, leather, flowers, earth, pencilshaving... Great!!

The wine is well balanced and still youthful.
Black and red currants, toffee, oak, minerals, flowers, tobacco...
Still very young and will develop for a long, long time.

I like this wine a lot.

Dark colour with orange notes at the rim.
The nose is really nice with dark fruits, licorice, herbs, white pepper, leather, lavender, "candy", cassis, black olives, dried fruits...
On the palate there is lots of dried fruits, cherries, licorice, dark chocolate, leather... Power and balance! Very long.
Still youthful and will improve for at least ten years.

Dark colour with some orange notes at the rim.
The nose is great with black cherries, leather, herbs, black currant, "candy", balsamico vinegar, dried fruits, raisins, white pepper...
On the palate I find dark fruits, sandalwood, leather, dark chocolate, balsamico vinegar, dried fruits... The silky tannins and the acid is in perfect balance. Powerful and elegant. Never ending!
Almost perfect but will probably improve over the next ten years or so.

(Tasted alongside Chateau Rayas 2003 and the Reserve des Celestins was just a little bit better.)

Light red, beautiful colour with signs of maturity on the rim.
The nose is incredible. Very fruity with red fruits, barnyard, herbs, sandalwood, earth, licorice, leather, cherries, red roses, minerals, "candy", white pepper... Every time you put your nose in the glass you find something new.
The palate is fruity and similar to the nose with red fruits, herbs, licorice, leather, strawberries... Silky tannins and a mouthwatering acidity. Very long.
Elegance and harmony!

(Henri Bonneau's "Reserve Celestins" 2007 in the glass next to this was believe it or not a touch better.)

Beautiful yellow colour with a golden touch.
Nice mature nose. Yellow apples, walnuts, dark chocolate, pears, lemon pie, pie dough, dried apricots, peaches, minerals, with sweet lemons at the end...
The taste is fresh, lively with nice acidity...
Really good. Mature but will probably improve for a few more years.

Nose: Oak, coffee, dark chocolate, vegetables, dark berries like cassis and cherries, some "sweet" fruits...
Palate: Oak, cedar, black currants, pencil shavings, dark berries, a touch of green peppers... High in tannins.
A powerful wine that I think will improve over the next few years.
Nice but not really "my cup of tea".

The color is dark ruby.
On the nose I find oak, leather, dark chocolate, dark fruits, black currant, tobacco, some "green" notes...
The palate is dominated of red fruits, green vegetables with some sour bitter cherries at the end...
Very high in acid and tannins.
Will definitely improve with ageing.

The color is quite dark (for a Barolo) with a touch of orange at the rim.
Noise: Tar, licorice, dark cherries, roses, oak, tobacco, leather, smoke... Really nice!
Palate: Lots of tannins and acid but I find them well balanced. Dark fruits, cherries, dark chocolate... Long and dry with some bitter cherries at the end.
A powerful Barolo that will develop for many years. A style of wine that I am very fond of.
Wish I had a few more bottles...

A great value. I like this a lot.
Full of dark berries, cherries, black currant, licorice, herbs...
For a Côtes-du-Rhône it is quite powerful.
This is a really good "everyday-wine" and will definitely develop for a few years.

Very good. Very interesting.
Lots of apples(!), some almonds, and a touch of mushrooms.
The sweetness is well balanced with a good acidity.

Very good considering the prize and age of this wine.
The color is nice, dark yellow.
13 years old but feels young with a good acidity to balance this quite sweet wine. Lots of fruit like pineapple, peach, yellow plums, lemon peel, some mushrooms and green herbs.

Second time I drink this wine. Rated it 85 a few weeks ago.
Better with food. Italian of course. Meatballs, tomato sauce, spaghetti.
But thats no secret that wine and food with the same origin match.

The colour is yellow with a touch of gold.
The wine has an appealing nose/ taste of pineapples, pear, lemoncandy, honey, a touch of petrol, mineral...
The acid is still high. This will drink well for at least 5 years.

From half bottle.
Very young of course but I think this vintage port is wonderful now.
Raisins, figs, almonds, walnut, elder, licorice, grapefruit, dark berries, plums, candy...
World class now but will definitely improve for many years.

The taste contains cassis, figs, raisins, dried flowers, roses, plums...
The acid and tannins are balanced and well integrated.
A bit Merlot-like. Wish I had more of this great wine.
