An outstanding wine. Well structured and balanced with enough dark/blue fruits, vanilla bean, coconut shredding, cinnamon, milk chocolate and toasty nutty oaks. The tannin are rich and luscious which provides a long aftertaste. This will age very well in the next 10-20 years. Delicious for it's young age. Looking forward to it's development in it's complexity in the next few years.

The wine looks violet colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, coffee, nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla. It tastes like blackberry, vanilla and oak. The body is medium/full. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity. Considering coming from a bad vintage, a good effort for this wine. Definitely need a few more years to mature.

Decanted for 1 day in preparation. Definitely worth the wait. Strong crimson purple with strong thick dark red rim. Vibrant aromas of ripe raspberries, blackberries, cinnamon spices and dark chocolate. The palate provides very balanced berries with integration of dark moca, chocolate and cedar woody earth tones. Beautiful silky tannin with persistent long length that make you want to have more. Complexity of favours coming out now but will further develop. A beautiful drop of strong bold barassa shiraz.

Such a beautiful young shiraz at a good price point. Wine was decanted 2 hours prior to drinking. A cocktail of fragrance of black fruits without being too ripe and jammy on the nose. It smells delicious and taste even more delicious. You can really taste the black fruits especially the blackberry mixed perfectly with the earthly, peppery spice. Tannin are soft silky with a good length. Has long term cellar potential and will develop complexity with patience. A fantastic vintage.

Dark purple red in colour.
Strong aromas of dark/red fruits especially ripe plums. Reminds of a Coonawarra cab sav but with the traditional Pepperjack shiraz oaky characteristics.
There's strong favours of sweet plums and dark fruits with hint of spice.
The tannins as rather quite smooth at the moments with plenty more cellar time to further develop. The length's about 10 secs but quite enjoyable at this age. Not a bad drop overall and looking forward to trying back in a few years time. It might develop slightly more complex in a few more years.

Decanted for 2 hours. Aromas of beautifully ripped black/blue fruits but not too jammy layered with licorice and dark chocolate. Delicately complex with balanced fruits favours and vanilla oak and dark chocolate. Finely grained tannin that leaves a long after taste. Definitely within its drinking window. Wouldn't hold for more than another year.

Wanted to try even though it is definitely too young for a St Henri. Decanted for half a day. Crimson purple in colour with lots of dark berries but well balanced with dark chocolate and licorice and vanilla oak aromas. The palate's exactly the same as the nose with nice silky lingering tanins and some spice in the end. Long after taste and have potential to further evolve and develop. Extremely happy with the bottle given the young age
