Deep clear red with almost a slight purple at the edges. Has a nose of Dr. Pepper, (cherry, vanilla & cola). Flavors of cherry, raspberry & pepper with a bit of caramel mid-palate. Strong but not unpleasant tannins at finish. Nice everyday drinker, with little complexity but good balance.

A yummy dry sparkling with hints of honey, vanilla & stone fruit. Not too yeasty. A lovely dry sparkling which paired well with steamed lobster.

Wine is a lovely ruby red. Initially, strong cherry, strawberry & cranberry flavors, with a fair amount of tannins. After about 1/2 hour, the wine integrates becoming much more smooth with hints of cinnamon & vanilla. About 1 hour after decanting, this wine is much more interesting, less red fruit, and more dark berries & plum, and very balanced.

Strong tobacco nose. The fruit has faded & the flavor is slightly sour & oak with a strong alcohol finish. Not corked or oxidized, just past its prime...

Very thick with dark berries, particularly boysenberry & blueberry notes. Slightly syrupy, and initial alcohol made it hot, but it quickly settled down after being open a short time. Very enjoyable with a nice steak.

Had this at a restaurant. Popped & poured and found the wine to be tight. Asked for a decanter, and after 20 minutes the wine began to evolve. Lots of cherry & red fruit followed by spices. Very smooth drinker & paired well with chicken & salmon entrees. I think this wine will be stellar in another year.

Initially out of the bottle, this wine had a cherry & blackberry nose with a touch of oak. Flavors of cherry, blueberry & plum along with heavy tannins. After about 1 hour, the tannins dissipated & the wine had completely smoothed out & was very well balanced. A nice lingering , slightly peppery finish. May go back for another bottle...

Wine had a red brick color. I had no (or low) expectations based upon previous posts. Initially this wine had a heavy alcohol scent, but settled down after a few minutes in the glass. Cherry, plum and creamy vanilla flavors. Finish tasted of sour cherry & raisin and was medium length (perhaps 20 seconds). A much better balanced wine than expected. (Not a fruit forward wine that would likely be produced today.) A lighter cab that paired well with a prime New York grilled steak.
