This is a terrific wine. It will be better in a few years. Seems like a 10-15 year wine, and might go longer. Today, it's a little too precise, acidic but shows great promise for balance. We enjoyed it a lot and plan to open again in 2020.

Deep, dark, extremely balanced wine that lingers. Decanted for one hour. Opened up a bit at the end. Enjoyed on a winter evening by the fire.

Starting to mellow. Cola and cherry notes transitioning into hints of brandy. Wonderful to drink now. Would not wait too much longer on this one.

Opened for my birthday and it was a real treat. Had it with Halibut. Wonderfully balanced wine. Stone fruit - peach apricot. Great minerality. Long finish. Hint of anise on the nose. Really heavenly.

Great nose - promises a lot, but on tasting, not much up front, the middle is wonderful - red berry and raspberry, then it lays down. Maybe it needs more time? Perhaps we should have decanted for an hour?
