8/16/23, 10:46 PM - Lol.
3/4/24, 5:47 AM - Focus on won't wow you. 😆
4/15/24, 8:33 PM - Fair enough, guess I'm just more of a Burgundy guy!
4/15/24, 8:41 PM - You can see what I normally drink but I'd say Latour is by far my favorite Left Bank wine, though I much prefer Right Bank in general.
2/1/24, 1:41 AM - Popped and poured! This ain’t DRC.
1/22/24, 10:31 PM - Grande Rue is perpetually disappointing relative to its real estate. I'd love to see what it produces with someone else.
1/17/24, 8:02 PM - Lol, quaffable is a complement!
1/18/24, 4:12 PM - Lol, if I don’t care for something I say “Meh”.
1/18/24, 4:14 PM - You’re welcome to check out my Instagram account, which is “taiwine”.
1/15/24, 10:38 PM - AdV and Perrine brought it with them to a Ficofi charity gala. I'm not going to turn it down. =)
12/7/23, 3:47 PM - It’s definitely open.
12/6/23, 5:49 PM - Perhaps unfairly comparing to the more recent vintages like 2016, where this has been quite elegant!
11/27/23, 7:40 PM - Lol.
11/2/23, 6:40 PM - No but thanks.
11/5/23, 1:36 AM - Savor this wine.
11/2/23, 6:39 PM - Lol!
9/11/23, 12:30 AM - Another 5 years?
7/26/23, 10:27 PM - Dusty.
8/15/23, 1:35 AM - It's a bummer.
9/2/23, 7:05 PM - Definitely possible, good to know!
8/28/23, 6:59 AM - Not too early, maybe 1hr.
8/28/23, 4:24 PM - I think can keep for another 5-10 years certainly, no sign of premox in the bottles I've had.
8/16/23, 10:45 PM - I think it's meant to be oxidative in style, not an indictment from me.
6/26/23, 5:37 PM - 2-3 hours of air.
4/30/23, 8:29 AM - I'd open 12 hours ahead.
4/28/23, 12:50 AM - It deserves time.
2/14/23, 5:57 AM - Sweet!
2/6/23, 7:05 AM - Not during the evening no. Prior to this, don't know.
1/17/23, 8:52 AM - Ok fair enough.
1/1/23, 4:27 AM - Fwiw I've yet to encounter an Aldo that's moved me in contrast to Giacomo...
1/1/23, 2:16 PM - Good to know. Thanks and HNY!
10/29/22, 4:14 AM - Fair enough!
10/13/22, 7:43 PM - Opened at 6ish, drank from 7-9. Not my bottle, so I didn't prepare.
10/17/22, 8:10 PM - Sure, good luck!
10/17/22, 8:09 PM - Believe it or not, pop and pour!
9/8/22, 2:53 AM - Crushable is a higher rank. Quaffable is passable.
8/26/22, 7:30 AM - 3 hour decant. You can try 6-8.
6/20/22, 9:05 AM - I get it, just rarely if ever impressed by Opus.
6/13/22, 9:25 AM - Yes they did.
6/14/22, 7:40 PM - My guess is they didn't bother to carefully store these in a cool place.
6/11/22, 6:56 PM - Interesting comments gentlemen. First, I'm not much of a champagne drinker (308 versus 3,839 Burgundy notes), thus take my views with a grain of salt. Second, I prefer freshness, energy and tension over the oxidative and brioche house style often prevalent. Third, I've not made the effort to try numerous growers but do find Chartogne-Taillet appealing in style and ethos if that's helpful. Among the big houses, Salon is what I accumulate.
6/12/22, 3:46 AM - Quite like Sainte Anne from Chartogne-Taillet. Also like Fac-Simile, but suddenly very pricey. For something different, Egly's Ambonnay red is delicious.
10/9/21, 3:08 AM - Quite drinkable with 2h decant.
5/7/21, 7:30 AM - Bingo
3/26/21, 10:20 PM - 😂
1/21/21, 3:53 PM - Yes!
12/15/20, 2:43 PM - Yes but will last a long while, no need for decant
11/3/20, 9:31 PM - Nope
10/8/20, 6:00 AM - The wine, the room, the moment or maybe me. Hard to say for certain!
7/11/20, 8:22 AM - Didn't notice actually. It was a promenade, thus quickly moved onto a red.
7/11/20, 8:22 AM - Yup, Ficofi event.
6/18/20, 12:25 AM - Indeed, it's corrected.
6/10/20, 10:17 PM - If you notice I own the wine, you can request I open it for you also
6/10/20, 10:17 PM - I’m there for you bro
6/5/20, 5:51 PM - Fine Wine Experience, just personal notation of location.
6/3/20, 1:07 AM - 2005 Roumier BM ;)
5/14/20, 7:11 PM - Give it 96 please, I'm trying to sell.
5/12/20, 5:22 AM - Yup
4/16/20, 10:56 PM - damn you're drinking these youngit's feng btw
4/18/20, 8:54 AM - =D
12/13/19, 10:00 PM - =)
12/13/19, 9:59 PM - Friend's 40th
8/8/19, 7:50 AM - I'd say revisit in 5 and let's see
8/5/19, 5:43 AM - glad you enjoyed it
7/11/19, 7:51 AM - Thanks!
