different from previous experiences, this was very light, beautiful scents of cherry pits and seashore, light bodied, too easy to drink, flavors of watermelon rind, strawberry, cherry pit and stone, a subtle but delicious version, dry, with emphasis on the mineral for this vintage, goes down quickly, a nice accompaniment with lemon panko crusted mahimahi filets

Serious cabernet, this one seems built to age, a few hours in the bottle brings out aromas of cedar, moss and blackberry, dark, rich, youthful oak waiting to integrate with the wonderfully textured mouthfeel, flavors of dark chocolate bark, tobacco, coal, blueberry and blackberry, big tannin and lower acid, shows restraint and understated power at the same time, great with rib-eye steak, there is structure for this baby to age for the next 15 years

drank over two days, aromatic red cherry and stone scents, this started off with a lot of Flintstone vitamin and mineral flavors, it opened up into a graceful, but strait forward Beaune wine with crunchy red berries and orange zest flavors, could use a nice meal match for now, some nice potential to evolve

inky purple, dark wine, leads with deep scents of smoke, blackberry, eucalyptus and blueberry, opulent, rich, layered flavors of dark berry, toasted marshmallow and cocoa, backed by oak, long dark finish, tons of dry tannin, better with a couple of hours of air, cellar potential for another 15 years

Lightly colored, lots of strawberry candy and spice on the nose, bright, with cherry and strawberry flavors and some mineral to close, the texture is velvety, and it finishes with mouthwatering acid, a rare deal as it outperforms pinot noir at a similar price across the earth, better at a cooler temperature, with or without light food

A bit disjointed with noticable oak upon opening, better on day three and still opening up with air time, the nose with vanilla, plum, licorice and roasted nuts, dry, with blackberry, plum, dark currant, stones, smoke and licorice hints, lay these down, there is a ton of complexity that will slowly unfold

kind of a steal, this big wine starts of with scents of mints and strawberries, not elegant by any means, chewy, masculine, gritty, flavors of blueberry, raspberry, pepper and plum sauce, not very sweet, rustic, there is a lot to write about for a wine this price, terrific

I dedicate this note to my future self; hands off, do not look at another until 2025 and beyond; as my first Armada Syrah, I had to pop one open and try, the aroma is explosive as expected from Cayuse, with strawberry, plum, burnt sugar cane, olive and eggplant scents, full bodied, pleasant but not overpowering acid, the potential is buried beneath deep layers of silky tannins, flavors of plum, blueberry, cream cheese, olive brine, lavender, licorice and raspberry which emerge over time, long finish, absolutely delicious, could very well last another two decades with proper cellaring, world class wine

Elegant! With exclamation, here is the explanation; decanted for four hours and it continued to open, aromas of flowers, red cherries and smoke in, the glass, at last, the Barolo so feminine, showed hints of grass, but the brass amassed in the mid palate when I let it in, flavors of red raspberry and peanut M&M, licorice, tar, and a hint of coccoa ended it, such a good find, I friended it

Decanted for 3 hours, seems to continue to pick up speed without slowing down, aromas of cigar ash, beets, red berry and plum emerge, feels good on the palate, softened tannins make for a velvety experience, bright red cherries, mineral, smoke and black tea nuances in the mouth, a touch of toasty oak, interesting and distinct, I had with rib eye steak and it was just right, should age very well

deep yellow color, the nose shows a nutty combination along with baked pineapple and apple, very bright on the attack, the acid shows up early then leaves impressions of toasted almonds, stone, vegetable, white peach and flower on the palate, intense, interesting and different, this is clearly on a different level and one that shows the potential of muscat

very pretty fragrance, scents of herbs, lavender and red and blue fruits lead way to a medium bodied, fine red with high acidity and laser focus, full of good energy, shows off bright flavors of cranberry, red cherry, olive brine, spice and mineral, hints of iron finish the palate, terroir driven with a deft touch at the winemaking level, never tiring, it is pure and complex, inspirational, as refreshing as cabernet franc can ever be, reminds me of when I first discovered the now popular Clape Cornas, this juice is special, matched well with chicken enchiladas
