Paired very well with spicy middle eastern dinner of lamb, hummus and salad. Refreshing fruit of dark cherry, apple or pear held up to the spice of the meal becoming more pronounced as we approached the end of the bottle. Sad to see this is last bottle down but was very enjoyable.
Drink now.

Overly fruity and sweet. That unique Rombauer Zin taste last only a moment followed with a flat finish.

Floral nose, roses. Light tannins thinned after decanting Jammy strawberries, apple. Too dry on the finish, lacking dimension.

First bottle everyone "liked" or really liked. Opened 20 minutes before guests arrived, it didn't last long as the opening to the evening. Paired well with walnuts that brought out cherries and earthy tones. Moving into dinner, the second bottle displayed a lasting finish that paired well with spinach salad, mixed au gratin, fried chicken. Best with the meal!
