truley a great wine, strong body, lingering on the tongue, just enough fruit and elegant, drank it besides an '12 Odette reserve cab, and an '11 ERA from OA, it was the class but in fairness, the others were much younger.

had waited too long, lost most of the fruit, but still an enjoyable wine for those of us that do not need fruit to win us over.

not a good example, cork was dead, although the wine had outstanding bubble structure, the taste was distinctively Dom, woodiness and hint of lemon citrus. because the cork was dead, it tasted like it had been aerated a little flat. you just cant buy it a Costco, no attempt at temperature control. However i always enjoy Dom, ever since my first visit to the Moet Chandon winery in '84 when they had released the 1976 vintage.

thoroughly enjoyed it, it is full flavor but light great bubble structure, no real fruit nose, but great with russian caviar, Just could not keep my hands off even though it should lay around for a nother couple years. We had a taste test with a 94 DOM. Cristal was superior, but not a good test, the Dom cork did not expand after opening. just can't buy Dom at Costco,

Terroir, bordeaux like, great accomplishment from a Cal Cab. Just my favorite. a little thin on the back side reminescent of an italian with a little oily background. Just a little bitter on the back side. A great find, love this winemaker and the premier wines of this house. hava a case, some have been not good examples, this one was a good one.

incredible, delectable, young but had to taste it, decanted it for 2 hours, was not dissappointed. was delightful with a 2 inch prime cut bone in rib eye. extraordinary, need to lay hands on some more. Anxious to see what 10 years does for it.

outstanding, cherry, well balanced, full, beautiful nose, tasted it with the 2012 Odette Reserve, at first virtually indistinguishable, but the the Reserve has more body and after being decanted for two hours, the differences were obvious.

was tight at openning, but quickly became the full wine i expected, just a little tart, but lots of flavor and developing terroir taste on the middle of the tongue. Great domestic but give it time, as with most twelves at this point.

in early years, inprevious bottles they were more robust, but this time it was full, flavorful but lighter. It was almost like the california cabernet had settled out, smoothed out, but the thrill was gone.

Their wines amaze me, coming from the central coast. Not the best example of their Pinot but certainly worthy of salmon

that was a pretty good chardonnay, a little light, but with a medium body. Was perfect with the Cod, not too acidic.

I have had this wine, have blown through half a case of 2009 in 2013 1nd 2014, was very enjoyable, a 90 or 91, but had it this week and think it is suffering from remission, seven years, im going to give it a couple years and see if it comes back up.

truely a great wine, took a good hour to open up in a decanter, a little dusty/muskey at first, but full fruit later, noticed a little harshness at the back of the tongue but as the wine openned the traditional bordeaux style and softness became apparent. looking forward to openning the other two in the cellar.

light but flavorful, incredible structure and bubbles. Ready to drink, didnt suffer from the strong woody taste and the sometimes overbearing flavors of lemon. Loved this wine. it was the perfect compliment to Osetra, blinis, creme fresh and minced spanish (purple) onions (after soaked in water for thirty minutes) for our pre Christmas family morning.

fruity nose, full ruby color, surprisingly smooth for a Zin, not hot for a zin, 15.5%. Bright and lively, cherry, hint of olive, light white pepper, little thin and earthy on the back of the tongue, but not undesirable. This wine is worth price. Not alot of tannins, time would help, but drink before 2019.

at first i thought i had waited a too long, experts indicate that it is near its life, "best consumed by 2015', but it opened in a matter if 10 minutes, garnet color, full, fruit is mostly in the background which is my preference, simple nose, classic french taste of the terroir, notes of pencil shavings, eucalyptus, balanced on the tongue from front to back, sense of the earth, just a tad drying draw on the tongue, very enjoyable.

Two of the wines were fun, very drinkable and two were vinegar. I was so surprised to see the variation from the same case. big terroir in the style of classic bordeaux, but decided that i need to drink this soon.

for its age it still needed decanting, big flavors, charcoal, earth, full, a little rough on the sides of the tongue, noticed some sediment. nose was a little flat even though it had 5% cab franc. my peers like it younger.

Was particularly full, fruity and still very drinkable. Usually default to Alexander Valley as it is more balanced at a younger age, but htis one hung around the cellar a little longer that usual. We were concerned at eight years old, it may losing its flavor.
