Tasted opposite 1995 Margaux. I found this more interesting. And I am a Ch Margaux Lover. Best 2002 I have ever tasted.

The LLC definitely beats the 96 Batailley which it was up against. Normally wines from 02 lacks fruit and character, this one certainly does not. Very classical in style. Wish I had more bottles. 92 p.

Tasted the 2005 Ducru Beaucaillou twice the last week. In my opinion it is very close to the Left Bank 1crus for this vintage qualitywise. A fantastic wine that is still very young, very appreciable now - very excited about the future for this wine. 97-99 p.

Har lyst til å score den vinen høyere, men den mangler finesse og eleganse. Bra tyngde og lang og rik ettersmak. Men lite stil.

Føler at dette er som en litt fancy Ford eller Opel - fin bil, men det er ikke helt Mercedes.

Denne overrasker meg svært positivt. Den er veldig enkel å drikke, balansert og harmonisk. Som mange andre viner fra 09 er drikkevinduet "åpent" hele tiden, men vinen endrer jo selvsagt karakter.

Tror denne blir enda bedre om noen år, 92-95 p.

Kanskje denne åpnes altfor tidlig, men syren er altfor fremtredende.

Vinen har ikke den klasse man forventer seg av en Bordeaux til denne prisen. Det kan hende at jeg er for raus med poengene, men håper vinen er på vei mot mer balanse, for noe potensiale er det her. Men det er absolutt ingen stor vin.

Den er fortsatt svært tanninrik, mange år igjen her. Kvalitet i massevis. Noe moderne i stilen.

Old School Bordeaux - typeriktig Paulliac.

Synes ikke denne åpner seg ordentlig etter 2 timer i dekanter. Lang ettersmak. Ikke noe feil med flasken. Hadde forventet mer.

Tror jeg venter 3-5 år med å åpne neste.
