I love this wine. Intense berries and licorice. Everybody always says "berries" (berries this, berries that, blah, blah, blah), but pour this into a glass, let it sit for about 30 minutes, and then just try to not get berries. You can't.

This wine is sexy, but rustic. It's complex, but modern. This is a wine you can be proud to serve and honored to drink. Once again, "there is no place like Rhone." Magnificent.

Very good wine. Reminds me of a Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine with a little less "pape". Excellent daily drinker/large group.

Amazing wine from an amazing house. Younger than the Laurence (obviously), and a bit young in general still, but still amazing when you compare it to all the wines you've had in your life. Gamey like a sweaty animal, Kalamata olives, licorice, and heaven. You're not committing the century's biggest crime by drinking it now (and nobody would blame you for your lack of patience), but I'd give it a couple of years to catch up to the Laurence (who I am absolutely in love with, by the way. I'd marry her if I could...the person, not the wine...okay, the wine too). As you probably know, the Laurence is the Reservee that's kept in the back room a year or two longer. Same grapes, barrels, process, everything-- the Laurence is just older.
