Medium garnet in color, bubbles when first poured, no rim variation. Has moderate aroma of melted dark chocolate, dark roasted nuts, and berry pie crust. It is fruity off-dry, moderate acidity and tannins, medium bodied, smooth tactile taste with flavors of crème Brule, toasty oak, and grilled beets. Ends with a nice mellow medium finish.
