Lovely red blend that went down very nice. Great for sipping alone and certainly went well with the chili pasta I made. Didn't last long but the last couple of ounces I three into the brown rice mushroom risotto I was making. Perfect.

I let it decant for 30 minutes and it was hard to wait but worth it. From the first kiss on the lips to the full bold fruity mouth feel, I was taken in. Had it with zucchini lasagna one night and BLT the next night. Love the quirky name which I had t read up on to see why it was called that. Thanks Matt.

Ths wine upon first taste said "hello, pay attention to me' and I did. It is intense with fruit, spice and soft tannins all rolled together to wake up the palate. The mouth feel was captivating and elegant. Also very affordable.

4/15/2020 Had this tucked away for a few years and it is drinking well now an d is very approachable. Upon removing the cork I was greeted with a wonderful puff of aroma which wet my palate. Oh it was lovely in the mouth. Rich and interesting with a nice finish.

8/28/2018 As the cool days are upon us in Northern Vermont, this is a great wine to wind down the day. It is deep burgundy in color and has aroma of dark fruit and caramel. It is full bodied with medium acidity and medium minus tannins. The taste is black cherry & plum taste and tactile experience is very smooth with a kick of spice as an end note on the medium finish.

4/6/2020 I had tucked this away fora few years and it is drinking very nice right now. Full bodied and well integrated with aromas and flavors of berry, vanilla and oak. Goes well with many things but I had it with home made hambone and black bean soup.

Dark clear crimson colored with medium legs. Aroma of ripe berries and toast. First sips are juicy with fresh acidity and soft tannins. On the palate it is smooth, fruity with some spice and a pleasant medium length finish.
