Meaty, Gamey, Bloody, rich funky earthy, underlying pretty floral and saline. A damn fine wine. Glad I have one more bottle of this.

Drank with Trey, winemaker of Basel Cellars at the time. 21 year old wine has held up remarkably well. still some fruit, and really interesting tertiary notes. fun to drink with Trey and enjoy my last bottle of Basel Wines that Trey made.

First bottle of this, I did not care for. I think it was in a dumb phase. drank the next bottle over 3 night. It was very good. No real tasting notes, I would buy and drink again for sure...

Excellent wine that is aging well. Some dried red fruits, leather, silky tannins. I think this may have just a few more years on it. Seems to be in a good drinking window now...

Fantastic wine full of citrus, grapefruit smooth round finish with excellent acid! Gotta say, I think I just became a Sauv Blanc fan after enjoying this wine!

This wine is singing right now. Excellent fruit, with prominent savory notes and ample smooth tannins. What a great example of Washington Syrah and its ability to hold up with age. This wine I estimate will hold up for at least another 5 years.

Excellent Syrah, co-fermented with 2% viognier. great nose, silky smooth tannins with medium+ finish. If you have any of this, I would drink it now. It was drinking well, but I think its past it's prime.

Wow. This wine is fresh and bright with lemon and other citrus notes. Nice and round on the palate with lots of depth. it still has a good amout of acid. I really wish I had another bottle of this wine. This still has a few more years....

Dark fruits on the nose and palate. Earthy, full and heavy in the mouth. Tannins are smooth and soft. Really great finish. Animal blood? (Hate those descriptors, but appropriate) good wine!

A hint of berry fruit on the nose, along with a dustiness, and leather. The dustiness carries over onto the palate, with vibrant berry, really good acid, and a really cool finish of dusty tannins that is smooth and lingering. I have one bottle left, feels like it still has a fair amount of life left. 5-7 years?

No formal notes, still good fruit, smooth silky tannins, it is difinitly on the back side of the curve. I would say if you have them drink within the next 2 years or so. I have one bottle left, don't think I will wait to long to drink it.

Made by Paul Hobbs, as close to California grown in Argentina as you can get. Full notes of Cedar, Cigar, tobacco box. very smooth, silky tannins. very enjoyable wine.

Not usually a fan of Malbec, but this is a fantastic bottle of wine. Drinking this in honor of my friend Kris Owens who passed away a year ago last Saturday. I bought it at a fundraiser for him, to help pay for his care. Miss you Kris!!!

This is drinking beautiful! Classic aged Cabernet Sauvignon, with plenty of fruit dark berries, cherries, still has good acid! This is the perfect aged Washington Cab! I have one bottle of this vintage left, I would guess it has about 3-5 years!

Earthy, wet leaves, funky on the nose. Mushroom, capers, savory meats on the palate, with very smooth tannins with a medium long finish. This is a really good bottle of wine. Down to my last bottle, wish I had more.

This wine has aged beautifully. Straw yellow in color, subtle honey and a hint of lemon notes on the nose. Lemon zest, honey and great acidity, full and round on the palate, great finish. I wish I had another bottle of this.

Saddle leather, pipe tobacco, black plum on the nose. Fresh hint of fruit on entry! Very soft tannins, finish is really enjoyable. This is really good. IMHO. Glad I have a few more bottles.

raisins, black plums, sweet pipe tobacco on the nose. Very smooth and subtle, with those flavors carrying over onto the palate. Great silky texture. Really holding up well.

this wine has aged well. Honey in color and on the nose. slightly heavy and viscous, with a tiny bit of acid left. I enjoy aged whites and this is pretty good, and is showing well considering the age of this wine....

This has aged really well. Nutty, roasted almond aromas, fruits, somewhat muted, but more savory notes coming through. full and rich on the palate, with the nuttiness coming through. Love aged whites..

Bacon fat, stewed black cherries, sweet and savory on the palate. Smooth velvety tannins, finishes savory. find myself wanting a little more length, although it is not short and does not drop off...I would say this wine has reached its peak. Have a couple more bottles, I think this is the year to drink them...
