Not sure what they were thinking. Intensely aromatic, with ripe tropical fruit and sweet honey/ vanilla. Dry and full-bodied, Med acid, high alcohol, med+ intensity on the palate and med+ finish. The viognier really overpowers the other grapes and we did not find it a pleasant drinkable wine. We’ll use the rest for cooking.

Loved it. Lemon and tropical fruits with herbal notes. Med + acidity and very well balanced. Great for sipping in a hot day or with acidic cheeses, seafood, or chicken.

Excellent wine. Aromas of tobacco, tar, leather, anise, black pepper and dark fruit. Medium tannins, medium acidity, and medium alcohol combine into a very well-balanced old world style Syrah. Drinkable now but will age for several years. I'm definitely going out and buying more.

Wow! Intense aromas of orange blossoms and honey. Off-dry with med+ acidity and moderate alcohol (13) make for a great accompaniment with Asian spicy food. Definitely will be going back for more bottles.

Red fruit with a medicinal, ashy aroma. Medium intensity nose. on the palate there is Med + acidity, medium + tannins, and more tart red fruit- cranberries and rhubarb. Not a very well-balanced wine with the tannins and high alcohol exaggerated by the tart fruit flavors.

Deep, inky ruby wine with medium intensity nose of black fruit, leather, and earth. Spicy notes of black pepper and cardamom. Drinkable now but the med+ tannins and med acidity will support holding on to this wine for 3-5 more years.

Blend of Malbec and petit Verdot (PV grapes are from above 2000 ft on Mt. Veeder which is southern part of Napa closest to the Bay which is great place for PV need lots of light and is picked last).
Black cherry and plum... I like it and would buy it again.

Recommended at the wine store as an inexpensive substitute for an amarone. Great suggestion! Ripe and dried black fruit, with tobacco, and leather. New oak spices and vanilla all blend in a balanced mod tannin, mod+ complexity, mod+ finish wine. Great with steak and definitely would buy again.

Pale pink, mild aroma of strawberries and watermelon candy. Good acidity but only mild fruit on the palace with a slightly bitter finish. Even for $10 there are better rosés out there.

Very floral with magnolia and orange blossoms. Orange and lemon citrus with a hint of stone fruit. Off-dry with good acidity. At only 10% ABV it goes down easy and is great with spicy food or just drinking on a hot day.

Lemon, white peach and green herbal aromas of chives and parsley predominate. Same fruit on the palate with moderate plus acidity make this a refreshing wine for a warm summer evening.

Very un-aromatic for a sauv blanc. Minimal fruit, no mineral or grassy notes. Moderate alcohol and acidity but nothing more. Try a NZ sauv blanc.

Ruby color, baking spices, red fruit, rhubarb pie and cranberries on the nose. More fruit that earth as is typical of many California Pinots. Medium body and long finish with lots of spice. Very drinkable now or could wait a few years.

Still young, deep purple and strong red fruit aroma with cherry, rhubarb and cinnamon. Cab adds a nice backbone to the Grenache but still fairly tannic and could/should lay down for several years. Overall a yummy super Tuscan that will only get better.
