After a two hour decant, wine was very smooth and almost lacking any tannin. Was expecting a little more body and fruit but it finished nicely.

Did a quick decant but opened up nicely after an hour or so. Very nice overall with good integration of flavors and fruit. Tannins are very mild and should allow some additional life but probably just moving past peak.

After a 2 hour decant and another hour in the glass, wine had opened up nicely and had excellent overall balance and smoothness. Tannins were integrated nicely with fruit. Probably nearing its peak in overall balance but should have 2-5 years more of good life.

Amazing wine. 2 hr. decant and had with Italian style dinner. Velvety feel and very subtle fruit flavors. Probably at its peak but could last a few more years.

1 hour decant produced a very nice experience. Half bottle so probably in its peak range but could easily go another 5-10 years. All components nicely composed.

Very nice after a 3 hour decant. Tannins are starting to fade but still enough to provide some structure. Not a great vintage so this is probably a great value.

3 hour decant resulted in a remarkably smooth and flavorful tasting experience for the second wine of one of the greats. From an excellent vintage, so I'm wondering how much better the primary Haut-Brion would be. Seems like it's at its peak so probably a few more great years. Wish I had more.

Decanted 3 hours and found it very good. Tannins were fully integrated and some hint of fruit although some age is beginning to appear so I would drink it within the next year or so to fully appreciate it.

A little disappointed since I had been saving for a special occasion. Seemed pretty one dimensional for a blended Bordeaux style wine. Definitely should drink now rather than any more aging.

Only decanted for an hour but really fabulous. Super smooth with well integrated flavors. Would drink over next 2 years.
The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are medium. There is moderate sediment in the bottle.

Nice wine. Tasted blind against 3 other similar quality 2000's from right bank and left bank and only finished 3rd out of 4 in terms of preference. Did not have the fullness I would've expected from the blend and the vintage and that was exhibited from the others. But, definitely at or working toward its peak.

A well made wine but a little too fruity over-extracted for my taste since it tended to overpower some of the subtleties that I would've expected from this blend.

An OK table cab but like most Sonoma County cabs--even Alexander Valley--they don't seem to have the same complexity or density as most Napa cabs. But for $19, not a bad buy.

A fabulous wine. Supposedly, Guardian Weekly 2/13/15 reported it was named the best wine in the world by a wine specialty magazine in China after a panel tasting of experts from UK, US, Australia, and China. I tried it and liked it very much. Very deep in its flavor and drinkable now although I would say it would be good for 10-15 years. A superb blend of caringnan, garnache, cabernet sauvignon, and syrah.
